well blowout

Well Gary bob.. This paticular well was a shallow gas well that blew out on us.. During the actual cementing of the long string we lost returns while still pumping the tail slurry. After we were done and moving off location it. Blew.. It's a horrific sound almost like a jet. The only thing saving it from starting on fire is It was blowing wet with a mixture of water and gas.. Sorry you weren't too impressed by the sound, but I never want to be in a situation like this ever again..

we had a blowout on a propane storage well, 50 gallons of product got out b4 we could shut in our BOP's our power swivel unit ran off and ignited the whole thing 4 out of 8 were injured with the worst being 25% thank god it was 20 out and we were wearing our carhartts or else it would have been alot worse...

The guy with the camera is standing way too close, the next thing you can see when this happens is a big explosion from the gas that's coming out and pushing that fluid the way it is in the video.
