Your a newbie in comics if wanna read batman like the long halloween there is a lot of great graphic novels for that I would check amazon sometimes they have some really good deals on comic books
Well, for people just starting to read comics there are quite a few good Batman graphic novels out there...Batman: Hush, Batman: The long halloween, Batman: The killing joke, Batman: Knight cries, etc...But going back to the point at hand, I feel that the reboot isn't horrendous, but doesn't live up to the original comics standards...But I feel that the new material is good in its own way, and people that are downing the series already should give it a chance to develop. - Gibz
@gibz95 yeah i loved Batman hush and like the long halloween, and especially the killing joke :D very great books. The comic yeah to me it is doing ok so far like for my standards i mean for others yeah its not like it used to but im letting it grow on me like issue 2 was just ok not as good as the 1st issue but im still looking forward to issue 3 :)
@EverythingsoSpecial i see i was thinking about it cause so far i haven't gotten like any other batman related comics besides nightwing, batgirl and batman and robin. But i heard good things about batman i'll think about it though
@TheComicNerd91 well if you have been reading comics for awhile i agree with you that it might not be what you expect it to be. But giving that his is a reboot to get new readers in i say its pretty good if i was a new reader and i read this i think it would have gotten me hooked to getting more comics.
@roggray i can't wait for issue 2 :) so far the new 52 comics i have picked up are good none of them of which i didn't dislike ^^ getting blue beetle and nightwing :)
@quantumshift5 Well this batman is bruce wayne :D and its all going back to the original so nightwing will also get his own comic :) the new batman and robin will be bruce and damian.
I loved it, and trust me, I've read hundreds of Batman comics, this was probably the most twisted and evil Joker has ever been.

If you like that issue Definitively get get the regular Batman book By Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.

I stopped reading batman at Batman and Robin, when the first Robin is now batman and Bruce was still missing.
