@acexjack The Owl is their symbol of worship in a way. The Owl can see in the dark where no man can. Owls are known for being wise, hence the use of the wise owl on the dollar bill. Owls also have a 360 degree view and can see everything around them all the time. Wise and knowledgeable and constantly watchful.
The Owl monument can be seen at Bohemian Grove Club which I commented on a few moments ago. This is a special club where world leaders go to meet up every year and watch ceremonies.

Ok, so everybody who thinks they're so smart cuz they found it and linked it to the illuminati and masonry, I'm sorry but you're wrong. It is not a spider nor and owl and is not linked to anything. If you look closely you can see the leaves directly to the left of the 1. now if you look behind the rightmost leaf, you can faintly see another leaf in the background and if you follow the shape and length, you can clearly see that the "owl" is just the tip of the leaf peaking out from behind the 1.

It's been used in symbolism long before the illuminate were even thought of. Equally, please remember that not everything on the History Channel is factual.
