savvysymbiont, my concern is not about ego but rather that these videos are not getting the maximum exposure they could. RepresentativePress loses out on the exposure that would come from being listed on the first page of the most subscribed gurus of all time.

This isn't exactly the topic, but I noticed something recently. The ranking for a specific channel type doesn't show up in a user's profile unless they rank in the top 100 most subscribed of all types of channels. No rankings seem to show up at all unless a user ranked against all users in a category. A user could be ranked #50 in Gurus but it won't show in their profile if they are not ranked overall against all users.

Ron Paul's Ranking doesn't show up in his profile at all. Maybe it is because he is a politician. He is #40 Most Subscribed (All-Time). RonPaul2008dotcom
This is the only exception I have noticed for channel listing. Disclaimer: I don't think it's a conspiracy.

i wouldn't worry about it, becoz your channel is very good, and people want the truth. however, it is possible that they only count those subscribers who subscribed to you AS A GURU for the tabulation of honors. but hey, what do i know . .

Before YouTube took away the categories and honors, I was in the 40s for Most Subscribed Gurus. When they took them away, I made an anti YouTube video telling them to bring back the categories. It got 10,000+ views, and now the categories and honors are back but they removed my Most Subscribed honor. Stupid ass-hats.

lots of people were switching to guru to get to the number 1 slot, maybe youtube stopped this being possible or something. Give it a day or two.
