I am not winging over one flight. Ryanair is doomed in the long run with these extra charges that are the companies profit earners. There was a time once that it was a budget carrier. No more. To a large degree the bigger commercial carriers have woken up & can compete with Ryanair & they provide by far a a better service. And about O'Leary he is a Cocky Bastard rebal looking for cause & he will loose this over time & sink the company.
O'Leary is a 'smug fucker'...he'd sell his granny a seat on ryanair...Any short man that wears cuban heels, jeans with a suit jacket an open shirt is tryin to make up for somethin'...This little napoleon needs to be stepped on..modelling himself on Sarkosy no doubt...always bannin' on about creatin' jobs but was willin to sacrifice same jobs last year if he didnt get his way...O'leary's only master is money...I think the word im lookin for to describe this little mercenary is a 'CUNT'...
@aseireann remember hes the one who runs the biggest and fastest growing airline in europe and ur sitting behind a computer so eh whos the smug fucker now
FYI: Michael O' Leary is just a theiving bastard & over time these extra charges some will go. Fastest growing crap rather than an airline. In short haul flights across Europe British Airways are just as good & in some cases Ryanair are more dear as I found to my cost on a recent trip to Rome, and with them no hidden charges.
@jghatora1 FYI: thats your opinion and your one person tye carried 68 million last year and you cant winge over one flight of course some are dear if you book at the right time your in for luck
@konigr Not stupid at all. Aer Lingus makes significant losses on its European routes because it can't compete with low cost carriers like Ryanair. What he wants to do is to buy Aer Lingus and continue to run it as a transatlantic carrier and just knock out some loss-making European routes; the actual flight experience (which IMHO isn't great anyway) wouldn't change.
Prior to WWII, citizens wanted peace and cooperation with Berlin due to the horrors of WW1. Chamberlain was cheered as he returned. National Socialist Germany then spread unchallenged until Britain woke up and had to fight an ugly war to squash what they'd allowed to grow. With the Irish vote on the treaty, many people in economically hard times may vote for personal job security over anything else. If dodgy characters like O'Leary tells them voting Yes will save jobs, then.....?

He continues: "The nonsense that I need European approval is just that, rubbish. Look, I'm campaigning for a yes vote because I think it's in the best interest of the Irish economy and the nearly 500,000 people who will be unemployed at the end of the year.". But you don't care about that.

"one of the reasons i his campaign for a yes is because our govt is incompetent and he has to persuade them to sell him aer lingus." that last part sell is because the govt has a load of aer lingus shares. but if u dont like the govt u should be trying to get them put out of office.

It's stupid. Ryanair taking over Aer Lingus?! That's would be like easyJet taking over BA! O'leary has a few issues… :-(

does the Euro really provide protection against a bad economy?? Ask Spain, who has an unemployment rating of nearly 20%...
What a bunch of crap..
Now we can bow down to our new European President. yay...
And people, NEVER fly Ryanair.. If there's one company out there that's overflowing with greed, it's Ryanair.
