This made me very sad because I have a 3 y/o bunny that looks just like Slippers. I lost 2 of my 3 bunnies in 2008. Both were 8 years old. One got sever head twist from a spinal growth. I had Spanky euthanized on April 4 after the vet said nothing could be done. Charcoal his mate was eutahnized on July 28 after having GI stasis and becoming paralyzed while in the vets care. I adopted a mate for my other bunny 2 weeks after Charcoal passed.
i have to make the decision whether or not to euthanize my rabbit or not within' the next week. she has tumors in her brain and can hardly function. it's so hard seeing her like this. :(
aww im sorry about ur rabbit ... my rabbit died today and im so upset its hard to lose an animal close to you my rabbits name was biscuit ^^ maybe our rabbits will meet in heaven
I am so sorry to hear about your rabbit. I hope that she didn't suffer too much when she was close to passing away. Losing an animal friend is never an easy thing; I hope you'll find peace soon. Take care.

Oh my goodness, I cannot imagine what I would do if my bunny passed away. I feel everything that you feel. I have seen death too many times. Pets are like family to people. I love my little "Spot". I know the time will come, but I don't want it to. But at least Slippers left with love. And so will Spot.
Victor - I had not realized that you had been the one that had adopted and then lost Slippers till I saw this video - the video, the music is beautiful and shows your passion and compassion for these special creatures! Slippers was lucky to have had someone such as you for the time she had - could not have gotten anyone better or have been loved more. Lorraine

i had 2 rabbits; boy-only white & a girl;white,black,brown.
but my mom sais dat they smelled gross(pee & crap) so i was sad wen "I" had 2 give them 2 some1 else... =(
we had them for about 1-2 years, i think...
well, "where slippers is now, his happier than ever" & i think dat he loves u more than ever 4 making a video tribute about him =)
