I do not know what you are studying at university but I think you could at least become a chinese teacher. You could produce DVDs. You could teach chinese at university. You could have people working for you doing translations. You could do private lessons. You can also do books on how to teach English with games to Chinese people who want to learn English. I am a TESOL teacher. I volunteer in Chinatown in NY to help Chinese immigrants to learn English. I am trying to learn Chinese.

While this is still really informative, the role play is what made your videos awesome... I think the video quality here is fine... the biggest thing that you could improve is audio (which is imperative for language videos). I don't live in Taiwan, but I wish I could help you. the world would be a much better place if more people were like you, helping to break the barriers between language and culture. 囧

@Jefugo I totally agree with this. At this stage, the main improvement should be with the audio. A good lapel mike would do the trick. You've been doing a fantastic job with your videos. I sure hope to see you keep coming up with plenty more. If you can cope with a Sydney-based video editor, I would be happy to lend a hand.

你好Peggy， "Festooned" if describing a car, you can just say that it is highly decorated. Colloquial expression, "decked out". To be covered in decorations.

If you are describing a truck that is "festooned" with decorations for a festival then we would use the term "float". A "float" is understood to mean a truck or something equally large that is decorated in order to be used in some kind of festival/parade.

The video is fine for now, what you need to do in the meantime is to improve your videos audio quality so your lessons are more clear and easy to hear, that is intill you find someone to help you do better quality videos.

aww I wish I lived in Taiwan. I'd def. apply for role of producer for videos! And for free too. Hope all goes well on your search!

Anyway, I think teaching mandarine chinese in your bedroom is good enough until you find the set up that truly matches your needs. But i don't think it matters anyway. In your bedroom or in front of a green screen, they have the same high quality! All that matters is that your still able to make new videos for us fans :)

@PeggyTeachesChinese - Ha ha. "Festooned" IS the perfect way. Ha ha. Any English-speaking native who doesn't know the meaning of "festooned" is revealing something not so flattering about themselves. "Decorated" comes close, but it doesn't impart the feeling of celebration in the same way that "festooned" does. Peggy... you have proven yourself a master at both languages!!! :D BTW, your self-produced video is excellent! Thank you!

@PeggyTeachesChinese Most people understand festoon, but it is getting kinda old fashioned-sounding...to festoon = to adorn ...so in this case, a festooned car is a car that has decorations hung all over it.

Adorn = to make something more beautiful by adding decorations to it.

I will only be in Taiwan for a week =/ I'm going to a friends house to meet his parents/ party/ and view Kaohsiung.
