  • Thanks so much for this. Most videos show people starting and creating a pattern, but don't cast off. Now I can finish about five projects!

  • This tutorial was very helpful, I had no idea how to finish a scarf. I tried to do it without a tutorial, but that didn't work out so well, so I decided to watch this tutorial, and it was very helpful. Thank you.

  • Thanks a bunch! I finally decided to finish a scarf I started a few years ago, and of course by now I didn't remember how to take it off the loom. Good tutorial.

  • omg! you are amazing at using the knifty knitter! that scarf is beautiful!

  • I really enjoyed this, it was the simplest way to cast off a long loom, for me. I had one problem though. When I finish using the crochet hook to braid the end I was left with a single loop. I had no idea what to do with it. Can you tell what I did wrong? Thanks.

  • As I said in your video "How to Cast On Rectangular Loom - Knifty Knitter"... Thanks so much for giving the beginners quite an easy way to understand how knitting works! Actually... casting off was what worried me the most before starting knitting, hehehe...

  • finally made a scarf, at the end i apparently dropped some, and had a couple of holes not real big at the edge, nearly cried but , then noticed the extra yarn wrapped around loom so had to walk away, and decided to just finish like i would a hat and stretched the end out, cant really tell now that i did that

  • Thank you Mikey! Because of you, I was able to give my sister a beautiful hand knitten scarf for her birthday. She thought it was store brought until I told her! Please keep posting because I will keep watching and using your techniques.

  • Thank you for posting this video. it helped me out a lot.

  • Thank you so much! I finished my first scarf only a minute ago thanks to your tutorial!

  • I find it easer for me to put the end thread in the side because I work it in the middle like you did this time. When I snip it, it still hides like it dose here. Great Tutorial though.
