  • Рекламный ход! При чем не удачный! Если бы паранг брил волосы, то он бы и древесину бы с легкостью строгал, а не с такими усилиями...

  • 10:10 buy your own damn chainsaw

    XD

  • my god man...chop down a smaller tree next time

  • cook your meat man

  • i think most of the damage came from the tree....XD

  • im gonna say something that i yhink everyone else is saying to themselves a parang or machete is mainly used in a jungle (not in a normal forested area} if you want to test it properly take it to a jungle

  • 5.11 Taclite Pros i believe your wearing, awesome choice of pant.

  • @ShadowCompanySW It's the full-cotton-version in this case. I also own the taclite, that's the better choice.

  • looks like the blade is too light. if it was a bit thicker you would have been through alot of that wood faster.

  • 12:45 You got wood hahahahaha :D

  • Stick that in someone's cranium !

  • what in the name of fuck was that in he back at 8:40

  • @ammatureRCdude looked like a cyclist. you feelin jumpy? :)

  • Amateur

  • you want an improovement?

    buy a kukri!

  • you are a bear ^^

  • neat but I still want a ka bar kukri or cutlass

  • Remember how Dave canterbury's father said: if you get mad stop! take a time to calm down and then continue :D

  • noob

  • I got sea sick while you cut the big branch LOL

  • opens a cold beer like no other ! lol

  • Haha so I should buy your foot if I want to chop trees down

  • Thanks for the vid!!...I enjoyed it. It seems like a decent blade (parang westernized) but I don't like the sheath. Natives where I am from just like myself like to have our thumb on the guard/handle ready for any attack instead of having to unbutton things..

  • 7:19

  • 7:19

  • personally i enjoyed the segment of you cutting that hard log. it shows that while it does take a while, it can be done within a good amount of time while retaining relatively good edge. plus it seriously put the parang to the test. good job.

  • XD 10:02 Chuck norris XD

  • 12:36 hope he cuts his balls

  • my cousine bought one at walmart and cut almost cut his thumb off before he even got to the car in the parking lot, trying to take that rubber thing that comes on the blade off

  • THE NOISE AT THE BEGIINING SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME

AND I JUST FOUND OUT I WAS HOLDING SHIFT

  • a kill bill ma vafff! ahahah

  • how long do you wanna take cutting that stump

  • Lol I love when he hits the stick its like the earth is shaking Hahaha

  • 4:49 ... SOLD!

  • Lol'd at 4:11

  • after all that I hope you enjoyed that steak, great demo. the only thing that bothers me is that orange color. I'm assuming its intensional "hi-vis" for a reason. other than that it it looks like its on my list of sharp objects to have around the house. lol

  • @madmantoby Thank you, the steak was great! The orange color - I thing the BG Parang won't get a design award.

  • The best parang BG review ever

    Respect from Bulgaria

  • Dear sir,

Please do not do similar reviews any more. It hurted my eyes watching how unable to use such a beautiful thing you realy are. I also was worried about your hands and/or fingers. At least, please, do some practice before turning your camera on.

  • Looks like it makes a great draw-knife...

  • Thinking about buying one for my brother, he's into knives, survival and stuff like that. I can't decide whether to buy the BG Parang, or Cold Steel (standard) Kukri/Machete. Which would you recommend? The Cold Steels are about 3/4 of the price of the BG Parang here in Europe where I live.

  • @nuk3man If its available in Europe, I'd highly recommend the Ontario Knife kukri over the CS. Price is around $55 USD. Great kukri and half the price of the SK-5 steel CS kukri and nicer all around. Plus its made in the US as opposed to China. (I know that probably doesn't mean the same to you! lol) Lynn Thompson (CS) has designed some amazing knives but the man is an asshole who wants to make money. Just my 2 cents

  • @nuk3man If the 2 machetes would cost the same, I would recommend the BG Parang. But you know, the CS Kukri is cheaper, so it depends how much you're liking your brother ;)

It also depends what your brother wanna do with the machete. Neither Sweden nor Germany is a typical machete-country, so how about an axe? You've got outstanding ones in Sweden!

But okay, I know, we all wanna have fun and big knives are fun.

I would recommend the Ontario Military Jungle Machete for your Bra. It's about 30 €.

  • @nuk3man PS: You can see a size comparison at the end of the first part of this vid.

The price about 30 €, I payed for the Ontario Machete was without sheath. But I caught a descent one for 7 €.

  • @thommicat Thanks a lot for your answers! I'll look into to it and see which one I end up buying :)

  • @thommicat On a second thought...what axe could you recommend, in equal price range of the BG Parang?

  • I've seen beavers work faster

  • that what im using my Cold Steel Bowie Bushman to.

  • id sharpen that machete straight after the chopping

  • At first I thought it was shit...But then out of fairness to this machete I don't think a guy using one for the first time will give us a true indication on weather this product is any good!

Have fun with it kid, try not to cut yourself.

  • 8:33 ooOOOooOOOoooooooh....

  • @MrMegaCrazyMan9 Cause it's a machete/parange not an axe. And the whole video is only 14 mins and 51 seconds long so your wrong. Also it'snot designed or supposed to be used in that manner. Just the fact that in can is awesome

  • Good review, but from what I can see that thing is a piece of junk.....

  • Super Kommentar! ;-)

    Danke Leon.

  • Super video,Super Parang,Super Kamera :D

    LG Leon

  • is it factory sharp or did you sharpen it?

  • if he was stuck in the wild he wouldnt survive one day. it took im 15 min to chopp a log!

  • Have you heard of a tripod before?

  • Ok. I'm getting this machete!!! this video sold it for me. He got me when he opened the beer.

  • you need to learn how to use that thing properly bro. im surprised youve got all your fingers

  • Great test man, and I am interested in the type of pants you are wearing in this video. I really like the color and I have been meaning to find out what it is. If you or anyone else could answer this I'd appreciate it. Take care and stay safe!

  • @atruepatriot92 THX! I'm wearing the 5.11 Tactical Pants, Cotton (50 $). But I would recommend the 5.11 Taclite Pro Pants. It's out of a mix of polyester and cotton ripstop. That's lighter and faster drying.

  • @thommicat Thanks man, I appreciate it, I'll look into them. Take care!

  • @thommicat Also if you don't mind, what is the color you are wearing, in the pants?

  • @atruepatriot92 The color is OD Green.

  • nice vid:-]

  • 2:29 lol at how out of breath he is :P

  • Your cutting inside that blood triangle. Be careful.

  • He sold me when he opened the beer bottle

  • good video, you convinced me to not to buy this piece of shit.

  • Not only can it cut wood but it can open beer?? I'm buying this parang.

  • hmmm i generally stay away from stuff that has some sort of hype, but that parang does seem like a useful tool.

  • 12:23 FATALITY!!

  • was that a sasquatch at 8:44 ???

  • Love this vid!!!

  • thumbs up for redneck round house kick at 12:22

  • you not got a scooby as to what you are doin with that chetty

  • It would such to have to do that in a jungl

  • great video id recomend stricking the fire stricker with the back of the blade so u dont dull the blade

  • @wsurvivalranger Thank you! The parang isn't sharpened at the base of the blade, where I striked the firesteel.

  • @wsurvivalranger thats wiked cool

  • WHY THA HELL DON´T HAD THIS IN DEAD ISLAND?!

  • testing the bg machete FAILL!!!!! next vid, if he wach this vid he will kick your ass

  • double click yield manager bg

  • I would just buy it to open up my beer

  • geeze what kind tree is that?

  • @manbearpig426 It's a beech. Very compact, hard and heavy wood.

  • Youtube spawning wannabes with no experience and consumers who fall for marketing sh_t for years to come wasting peoples time. I would have been through that tree with my Swiss army in far less time.

  • oh man ,, you need a hand massage after that

    LOL

  • like a gipsy 1 meter above the ground :D

  • he kick the wood like a child ... stupid idiot ... he need some axe ... :D

  • amateur :D

  • why just dont use an axe?

  • @minkaka Because I wanted to test the BG Parang. ;-)

  • This is pure comedy I had to laugh so hard when he kicked the wood off

  • haha he was tryin to cut wood with his sword

  • Made in china......

  • Rubbing wood between the legs. A favorite hobby of many men.

  • i'm waiting till chuck norris makes a parang i'll buy that one

    coole sache

  • clearly not MEANT to cut down a tree

  • I love the fact that he is at regular camping site going crazy with a factory produces machete. Why don't bring a axe? All his practices are meant to be done with a axe twice as fast ;D

  • bear grylls can do it without the machete

  • 4:07 LOL!

  • lol epic fail tree cutting method

  • tote zweige äh jedes küchenmesser kann das

  • Love the cutting method in the first minute. Should have sliced a femoral artery to show 'em how it's done!

  • @wildeyezextreme I've got artificial leg replacements yet. So please don't work like this if you're still happy to own your own extremities. ;-)

    Thank you for the advice!

  • @wildeyezextreme yea and at 0:15 slicing your knee caps off

  • Приобретите топор! И перестаньте смотреть ТВ-шоу!

  • Comment removed

  • I would be fucking PISSED if I had to do this every single night!

  • HAhahahah fresh brew in the back. Hell ya!!!

  • You can´t cut a tree...

  • Lol. Good work. My gf and I were just saying "why don't people just skip the bullshit and cut shit". And here you are.

  • bloke is useless

  • haha love the beer time <3

  • @AdrianCto96 The parang isn't sharpened at that part of the blade. But you're right, I wouldn't spark with the sharp edge. Bear Grylls does so, I don't know why, maybe he doesn't have to sharpen his knife by himself or always getting an new one after using.

  • I wonder if Bear would be caught dead with that piece of shit

  • 10:02 lol

  • I must buy this machete as beer opener!

  • 04:50 the best part

  • Learn how to chop before you post a video!!!!!!!

  • I got this knife I bent the blade after 45mni clearing a walking trail chopping softwood branches. not impressed..

  • problem with the blade shape is that it directs force away from the cut.

  • was there any play in the blade afterwards

  • @theotherphoneguy No, everything is stil tight.

  • @thommicat thank you very much for the reply this was a very helpful video

  • you really got no skills with knives

  • lol he just messed up his whole knife

  • God damn butter knife must be sharper than this thing after you're done with a tree or tow. Hha

  • Gutes video. Cooles messer. =) 5/5

  • i wonder what the people who see a tree that was cut off with a machete will think....

  • @T19R0N they think: WoW somebody tested the Bear Grylls Manchete!!!! How great is that?......

  • anyone who is worried about it rusting just give it a light oiling after use

  • get a gerber lmf 2 asek

  • @jarrod1685 Great knife. What color did you get?

  • @SargeantMendez coyote brown,sick arse knife

  • @jarrod1685 I got black it was kind of a mistake but it still works so im not complaining to much.

  • Lol hes shaving with a Machete XD

  • i'm glad i didn't buy it.

  • I think the most important use for that knife was open that beer bottle.
