Wow. Apparently U2 have played Electrical Storm a few times on the tour which is great. If they come to Brisbane I hope they play that. They should also experiment with a few songs that haven't been played in a while i.e. Discotheque, If God Will Send His Angels, Last Night on Earth, Please, The Sweetest Thing, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and Even Better Than the Real Thing etc.

idk when the dvd will be out, but the sound was an issue at the show too. i hope they fix it too. at one point, u actually hear one of the sets of speakers fail, i think. but other than that, the show was really good. too much fog, tho.

sorry my comment must have sounded very pompous - I have pretty much all of the U2 live DVDs and enjoy watching them as much as the next person (assuming they are a U2 fan of course) but the DVDs and YouTube clips although good are still just a fraction of how good it is to actually see the band live.

Months back before I saw them in Cardiff I saw a few clips taken from peoples phones and it almost put me off... but thankfully the live experience and actually being there blew me away!

yeah, try to sing outloud almost every night in front of 100 000 people, singing songs really hard to sing like moment of surrender or songs where you have to sing high like in a little while, and that during 4 months and you'll see if you sound aweful my friend. Moment of Surrender is not that hard to sing. Breathe is probably their most difficult song to perform because Bono has to spit those words out and make them understandable. He even admitted before No Line On the Horizon that they have songs they can barely play.

TJ1406 I couldn't agree with you more. I can tell you though it was not a camera test. It costs A LOT of money to preapre the show to be shot on film and they wouldn't do it just for a test. You're right about Bono - he was horrible as far as vocals go. I was really suprised Adam made a mistake but it clearly happened.

One thing is for sure - being a U2 fan for +20 years I am not buying this DVD, and for those who think this was an awesome show - you evidently have never seen a awesome one.

I dunno, they did make quite a few mistakes, but it's really not that big of a deal.  I mean, the Vertigo DVD had Bono clearing his throat and screwing up some lines during "Elevation." They're human, after all.

The mistake made was by Paul McGuinness....U2's manager...they played this show 2 nights after playing Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas....of course Bono's voice is going to be screwed up two nights after singing in the dry air of Las Vegas..he should have had a couple of more days rest...or don't tape a show for DVD when you just played in the dry air of Vegas two nights before..stupid management decision
