I used to help manage Oleta back in the 90s, and I remember when we did this shoot - believe me, working with Oleta was a dream - one of the most gifted, warmest, kindest, and most generous artists I've ever met! Go Oleta! I just wish she'd get another major-label deal and record a new CD to bless the world with that huge, glorious voice!

That's great to hear; thanks for sharing. I always got the impression she was a nice person. I loved the fact she stood up to the hateful people who call themselves "Christians" when she said she supported gay rights and gay marriage. Oleta is a REAL Christian, not one of the new type that use religion for hate.
