Um this song was released 8 years ago. Sure not all their songs will be good, just like a lot of artists. Being fat has nothing to do with it. This is a hit or miss business. Oh and they have always been a Blues-Rock style band. Blues and Rock come from similar sounds. I'm still a fan, who cares what Popper weighs, he's still a master at the harmonica and BT is still going strong!

This wasn't a bad album but it didn't come close to Four. Four was pure emotion, soul and angst. Popper wrote Four while bedridden after he destroyed his knee in a motorcycle accident and he basically poured all of his anger, pain and frustration into that album which made it pure gold. This album was the polar opposite.

Replacing the harp with the synth was a bad choice. Popper uses his harmonica for a total of 3 seconds in this song and even then its a bare whisper. Bad form. Not one of their best.
The synth itself is fine. I wasn't hating on that. What I meant was that one of the things BT is known for is Popper's unique use of the harmonica. A song without it is not truly feeling of a Blues Traveler opus, whatever instrument is used in its place.

Popper is still alive and healthier than ever. Bassist Bobby Sheehan died on Aug 20, 1999 of a toxic mix of heroin, cocaine and valium. Still annoys me to this day, he was a truely great bassist. Take a listen to "Pretty Angry" on the Bridge CD.

This band has been awesome, but suffered a serious blow that has changed their sound. Bob Sheehan their bassist and a driving force in this band died in 2000. Right before/as they were working on this album. So of course they sound different. Still awesome, tho!

This song is not new. It was released on the Bridge album in 2001. One of my favorite songs from Blues Traveler. I like Back in the Day, Pretty Angry and Rage from the Bridge album too. A really good CD
Blues Traveler still rocks!! I saw them 2 weeks ago in Hoover Alabama and they do a lot of new stuff and still rocking the older stuff. John hasn't lose anything at all but weight. We talked for a long time after the show and he is so personable and down to earth. I had a great time and spending time with John was a dream come true. I have lots of pics and he was a wonderful man to talk to and hang out with. Blues Traveler still rules!!!

This wasn't a bad album but it didn't come close to Four. Four was pure emotion, soul and angst. Popper wrote Four while bedridden after he destroyed his knee in a motorcycle accident and he basically poured all of his anger, pain and frustration into that album which made it pure gold. This album was the polar opposite.

Replacing the harp with the synth was a bad choice. Popper uses his harmonica for a total of 3 seconds in this song and even then its a bare whisper. Bad form. Not one of their best.

The synth itself is fine. I wasn't hating on that. What I meant was that one of the things BT is known for is Popper's unique use of the harmonica. A song without it is not truly feeling of a Blues Traveler opus, whatever instrument is used in its place.

Popper is still alive and healthier than ever. Bassist Bobby Sheehan died on Aug 20, 1999 of a toxic mix of heroin, cocaine and valium. Still annoys me to this day, he was a truely great bassist. Take a listen to "Pretty Angry" on the Bridge CD.

This band has been awesome, but suffered a serious blow that has changed their sound. Bob Sheehan their bassist and a driving force in this band died in 2000. Right before/as they were working on this album. So of course they sound different. Still awesome, tho!

This song is not new. It was released on the Bridge album in 2001. One of my favorite songs from Blues Traveler. I like Back in the Day, Pretty Angry and Rage from the Bridge album too. A really good CD

Blues Traveler still rocks!! I saw them 2 weeks ago in Hoover Alabama and they do a lot of new stuff and still rocking the older stuff. John hasn't lose anything at all but weight. We talked for a long time after the show and he is so personable and down to earth. I had a great time and spending time with John was a dream come true. I have lots of pics and he was a wonderful man to talk to and hang out with. Blues Traveler still rules!!!

I think it is so cool to see them have some fun, I don't think that they do anything to be popular, I don't know if people realize how long they've been amazing! I did miss the harmonica at first, but this grew on me as much as anything that they have done. I guess I would have to say_I'm an addict though, so my opinion could be biased. Love em!!!!!!!!!!!! Saw my first show in '93-have seen them at least 15 times since then.(that doesn't include the free shows)

wow man am i the only one who finds this depressing? This is so damn poppy and they basically dropped the thing that made them so popular in the first place. HARMONICA. And there not even jamming to any extent. Its so sad when bands hold back there talent to be popular.
