I love this song and The Big Bang Theory.(: It's been airing since '08 and I JUST now started watching it! I'm rather surprised I didn't find it earlier, it's so amazing. Dr. Sheldon Cooper delights me so. :D Nice video, too. Kudos.
there will not be a big crunch, just gonna get bigger and bigger and cooler and eventually just be a rather big fizzle maybe - so they say :) so ****ing what!
Excellent! The lyrical misinterpretations of most TBBT lyric videos are corrected here at last.
The only problem with this video is the use of "a big bang" instead of "The Big Bang" (as they are referring to a specific event by it's proper name [The Big Bang] as opposed to the concept of a large explosion [a big bang]). Otherwise, fantastic job. Thanks very much.
@Serenityrockstar I used to like Two and a Half Men. But when Charlie left, I could tell how hard they're trying to save it. And I've been watching alot of Big Bang, too, so going back to that wasn't the same.
I sung this, like by saying it normally and not really singing, to the "smartest" kid in school lol. Hahaha the look on his face was a perfect Kodak moment xD
@LaurelleStars how could anyone be disrespected by that its just cellular resperation just idk how you can hear that and everyone does that just asking and if I'm worng or missing something just tell me
@RawrCookieMonsta15 christians don't believe in evolution or the big bang thus they would be against this song. Geeze must I explain everything -__-. Anyways it was just a jk don't get all butt hurt over it. moving on now..later
@puremind This is a song. Not a history of the world class!!! And so wat if christians dont believe it this is a song meant for enjoyment and not a lesson from you Mr or Ms(watever the hell you are) Know-It-All ok :)
@RawrCookieMonsta15 Initially it was suppose to be a joke for those who understood but since you didn't get it, I took the liberty to explain it to you. After explaining, you then criticize me for trying to teach a lesson. Well sorry for explaining something that YOU didn't get. Anyways lets just say it was my fault for making a joke that you couldn't understand. As I said in my last reply "moving on now" don't bother to reply cause I won't. Have a nice day and best of luck whoever you are. ;)
I must be one of the australopithecines they're singing about because I'm only now discovering the very funny Big Bang. I love the Ladies, too, and don't know why I never heard this song before. You did an awesome job with the video. I enjoyed it very much.
If I may point out a minor quibble with the lyrics, but not the actual song (which I enjoy immensely). The universe, as best as current science tells us, will not under go a "Big Crunch" and collapse in on itself, but rather expand forever outward until the universe reaches absolute zero and the last of the subatomic particles cease moving and fade out of existence. The entropic death of the universe is hard to fit within the context of the song though, so its forgivable Derp..
@OpDDay2001 I personally believe that the Big Crunch is far more likely then the informally named "Big Freeze" Assuming the Big Bang was an actual occurrence and happened as we expected it to, With out any other implications or co-occurrence the universe will expand outward until the equilibrium is reached between momentum the mutual gravitational attraction of all its matter will eventually cause it to contract.
@LNGamlng This is a completely civil point I'm going to make and mean it not to make an argument but to have a civil conversation regarding varying theories,
@LNGamlng I'm not going to patronise you because I assume you know exactly why you believe what you believe and I have absolutely no quarrels with that but consider this. I know you probably know about the Hubble constant which is the law in which the movement of the universe (Be it expansion or contraction) Is measured, And while this as of now shows that the expansion of the universe is accelerating, As an object gains speed it gains relative mass meaning the gravitational pull of each object
@LNGamlng Increased until a point when which this will override that of the force in which they are being propelled by. The discovering of the Higgs Boson my go some way to proving this theory correct as it could show that friction would the HIggs sea may also eventually cause some sort of hindrance in the net expansion of the universe. I also would like to say we do not know enough about Dark Matter to prove credibly either of our theorys, So until we do, Enjoy the song
@LNGamlng Dark Energy and Dark Matter are unproven theories, yes. Though there is evidence there for both. Dark Energy is probably the less believed theory, since dark matter's effect on the universe can be "observed" even if it cannot be observed. Still, I thought the "Big Freeze" was the prevailing theory at the moment, and it's just the theory I find most luckily based on current "evidence". The Big Crunch just seems like it would just eventually end in a "Big Freeze" eventually,
@OpDDay2001 ... unless each resulting new universe, assuming the Big Crunch causes another separate Big Bang, manages to maintain the same amount of collective energy as the universe before it. If it does lose energy/mass in creation, wouldn't it eventually not have enough energy, and therefore mass, to expand all that much at all until eventually it just stops. Like one of those executive ball toys. I forget the name of them, actually.
@OpDDay2001 Newtons cradles, I actually love them with a passion. Well we're not sure how dark matter reacts under extreme pressure as of yet as such it is still plausible that the Big Crunch is a prelude to yet another big bang, Think of it as a perpetual motion machine, Each reaction causing the necessary events to occur in which collectively can form the energy needed for another big bang, Although you could be very well correct there's a huge chance eventually it would run of out of energy
Easy way to learn this song, first listen to it for 3 to 12 hours. Next attempt to sing the song with no use of the video or music. Next attempt to sing the song with the video and music 3 times. After that play the video and close your eyes and attempt to sing it. Finally sing the song while just watching the video on mute. repeat last 3 steps. Now sing it casually, if it worked then hooray for you.
@stoneluigi1 haha, I just started by memorising my favorite bits (that aren't in the show's part of the theme), and once I got that down, moved on to the rest. all while just listening to it on repeat. I was flat-out determined to memorise it, though XD
