  • love it!

  • At this moment a generation is being born into the Earth who are fearless and will enter into and possess the land unlike the countless well-meaning but faithless generations that perish in the wilderness. Judgment is coming, and only those who walk in the Spirit and manifest God's power and anointing will be able to lead the lost to the Lord.

"Wisdom is justified by her children." (Mthw 11:19) "I said, 'You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High." (Psalm 82:6, John 10:34)

  • We are called to do signs and wonders, but not as Bill calls us. Bill tries to trump the Holy Spirit by rewriting the gospel as a false apostle. The Bible says that many workers are masquerading as true workers of God for profit.

Steer clear of his teaching as it is divisive. I have seen several churches torn apart by his teaching. It has no good fruit.

  • Jesus Is divisive. He Is the Word of God that divides between soul & spirit, goat & sheep, tare & wheat, lukewarm & fire hot, bad & good figs and fish. I have not heard this man teach anything that is unscriptural. I follow Jesus, not men. His ministry is producing mature young believers that are sold out for Jesus.

It appears there is something personal between you & Bill. I do not deal in personalities. If people are brought to Jesus & lead others to Him to be discipled. That is a good thing.

  • @MyGodIsEternal Oh, please.. What makes you a true worker of God? How many times do we see so-called christians on here that feel that they have the right understanding of God, but others don't. It's called phariseeism and it is a disease that's killing christians off. They feel that God has given them the correct understanding of the bible, and that they attend the correct church. There is no love in their actions, it's all negative. You need jesus..

  • For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

  • Apostles are for today and Bill Johnson is definetely one of them. This is a good teaching. The safest place is forward not backwards. We must continue to advance the Kingdom.

  • matthew 10:5-9. I just love this.

  • also? since when did Jesus need our help advancing His kingdom??? He's establishing His kingdom AFTER the anti-christ reigns. AFTER the 7 year trib and plagues. And AFTER he destroys the world???? So what are these NAR churches doing by "advancing" Jesus' kingdom on earth?

  • I am not going to argue with you. God bless you sister. May the Lord bless and keep you. May he cause he face to shine upon you and give you peace. In Jesus name

  • Let it be known that I believe God gave us authority to do miracles, but NOT to command things that are from our thoughts to manifest themselves. This is a false teaching. Hope this clarifies my comment made below to briscoewd.

  • Raiderragent,

I don't believe that Bill teaches we are little gods. That more Copeland and Dollar. Bill is not a word of faith televangelist.

  • The Kindom of GOD is NOT meat and drink,PHYSICAL.JN 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

  • dominion now theology isnt from God

  • When Jesus said, "The Kingdom of heaven is at hand" He was talking about HIMSELF, not heaven!!! Jesus is the Kingdom, He wasn't talking about bringing heaven to earth. He knows this earth is tainted with sin and someday He'll destroy it and make a new one. That's the whole reason He came, to restore that perfect relationship man once had with Him in the beginning.

  • Pastor Bill came to Australia recently and I had the pleasure of hearing him preach, I was so enriched by his message about the blessings of obedience and that we, through Jesus have the same power and authority as Him to perform miracles and cast out demons, and what an incredible blessing it is to see someone healed. My life has been radically transformed because I had a healing encounter with the Almighty. I would question the validity of a ministry who doesnt teach these biblical truths...

  • Yes, because Bill believes we're "little gods", his whole Theology is based on this heresy. If you're a "god" then why couldn't you do all these things, you're entitled to them!

  • I agree. Bethel is on the right path. They are an example to all of us of what can happen when the church has one focus, the face of God. They do everything Jesus told us to do and it can only get better.

  • Thank you for posting such a great message. I was blessed!

  • The leaven of the Pharisees was religion mixed into the simple revelation that God had now done a new thing...He introduced Jesus and His government according to Isaiah 9. Now Jesus says to man...unless you are like a child you cannot enter into the revelation and demonstration of the kingdom. Now you are to be as leaven and take over everywhere you have influence. Not with religion but with the revelation of the central message of Jesus which is kingdom now with power and glory. Matt 6:33

  • Well, I'm not sure that laughing uncontrollably shows us that the person is under the influence of the Holy Spirit since one of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control. Rather, if you can't control yourself, you are in danger of being controlled by an evil spirit if you aren't truly saved. Many in the church today believe they are Christians but are still lost. To these Jesus will say, "Depart from me, for I never knew you."

  • Laughing uncontrollaby as you say is bibilical, on th day of pentecost when they went out of the room, they were speaking in differrent tounges, but some of the people said they were drunk. So read between the lines, they must of been doing something that made them seem like they were drunk, like laughing uncontrollaby

  • I think they were eating Twinkies, would that be "reading between the lines"? The people thought it was weird because they were speaking other languages, that's all, don't try to justify holy laughter with this verse, it doesn't work, ever. You can't just make stuff up. Holy laughter came about in the 90's with Rodney Howard Browne, it's a new thing, not Biblical, but it's new.

  • psalms 16:11. In your presence is fullness of joy. at your right hand are pleasures everlasting. Fullness of Joy. laughter is joyful. So if in the presence is fullness of joy. wouldnt that include everything that is joyful?

  • Thank you, friend. Please continue to stand up for the truth against these false teachers who fleece God's chosen ones to line their own pockets.

  • The kingdom (government) Jesus brought to earth is through theological eyes, still something to come in the future instead of something that is past, present and future. God's kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, from eternity to eternity. But Christ's return is when the good news of the kingdom, that God's government is at hand is preached to the whole world then the end will come. You are to take the government of God and influence nations through miracles, signs, and wonders in righteousness

  • None of the apostles or the other 70 had the spirit without measure but they all did the same work Jesus did. Read Luke 9 and Luke 10. Same power (authority) delegated to you and I to get the same results Jesus got. Philosophying about authenticity will never produce manifestation for you. The person experiencing the power is never at the mercy of the person with inexperience. Act like Jesus and get the same results. Live your faith don't just talk about it. Faith is an action word.

  • Jesus did not come to bring a religion. He came to introduce the kingdom and that man could enter in by believing that the Father had sent Him. Isaiah 7:14;9:6-7;Matt.4:17,23;12:25-28 You are the seed of the kingdom (Matt.13:38) Jesus will return when the gospel of the kingdom is preached throughout the world. (Matthew 24:14) Of 6.7 billion people on the planet you were chosen to work with God in the return of His Son. Search your doctrine don't miss his commandment to preach the kingdom.

  • No one has it all. Listen, study along the lines of what he is teaching. Stick with what he is teaching and see what truth there is. If there is truth, don't bash him for where he may have errored. Embrace him for where the truth unfolds. If you study the bible from your religion you study it from your past. Hardest learning is unlearning. Bless Bill for helping us to unlearn religion so that we can embrace the God-kind of life. Problem with his book then don't throw out the baby w/water

  • Jesus said, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees" and elsewhere it is written, "A little leaven leavens the whole lump" and "there will slip in secretly among you false teachers." Your nonbiblical advice could hurt others---I have seen whole churches stumble using this 'eat the meat and spit out the bones' philosophy Johnson preaches. STEER CLEAR of the 'bad' loaf of bread---you can't take the yeast out of the bread once it's baked. Get it?

  • There is text, context and concept. We miss the concept sometimes by only focusing on the text in its context. Some things God does to introduce a concept and if we can embrace the concept we can see God's fuller picture of His purpose. Those who stay with the text are right but incomplete. Those who stay with the context are incomplete. Those that take the concept and take away from the original intent run into error. Truthfully, they all error without the truth giving Spirit of God.

  • Jesus prayed, "your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Matt 6:10. Their is no sickness in heaven, so there should be no sickness here on earth. "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." Matt 10:8. This is the normal christian life, anything less is abnormal. We as believers are called to advance his kingdom here on earth as we co-labor with Him.

  • The Bible makes it clear that the conditions of heaven will never be fully fulfilled on this earth. Bill's idea is his own---it's not supported by the Bible. I agree with you otherwise, but for a proud man to say that he knows God's will? He knows the way God works in our lives? And then contradict the Bible? God says that "My ways are higer than your ways". Read the account of Paul and Job 33. These speak the TRUTH on how God works in our lives. Righteous men know how God works through trials.

  • I left out the 'h' in the word 'higher in the previous quote, sorry.

  • AMEN!! Bless you, firethirsty!!

  • We are all anointed under the Holy Spirit when Jesus saved us. We do not need extrabiblical revelation. God does not pick favorites in the way man would think. You don't need Bill's teaching. You only need a quiet place with your Bible, and ears to listen to God. He can reveal anything to you that He deems necessary. You're worthy of Him.

  • Be aware that Johnson said that while on the cross, Jesus modeled what would be possible for any man who was in right relationship with God and completely free from sin. Jesus was and can be the only sacrifice for sins. Don't listen to Bill's teachings.

  • Do you have anything better to do than to search for every video you can find to scream "HERESY!" ? God knows the heart. The fruit of their ministry is exaltation of Christ as Savior and friend...the healings they see on a regular basis is unheard of in the body of Christ today. Be careful not to touch the Lord's anointed.

  • Healings are not proof of legitmacy in someone's ministry. If you knew the gospel of Mark and the end times, you would understand this. I am not judging the heart of the man, for where he goes after this life, but his fruits, which are not the healings but the message: "You can take God's power into your own hands and have at it." It separates people from a personal relationship with God. Where is this "touch not God's anointed" in the Bible? Sounds like more Word of Faith diatribe to me.

  • Satan can mock healings done by the Holy Spirit!

BEWARE FALSE TEACHERS - JESUS IS COMING VERY, VERY SOON!

  • I want to make it clear that I believe in true healing. These may or may not happen in Bill's services. Gifts of healings are given to individuals as the Lord wills, but I do not have reason to put faith in some of the miracles that Bill claims in his church. They seem to resemble false miracles---feathers from the ceiling--oil from the walls---God will allow people to turn aside from the faith who desire power over love for God. See that this doesn't happen to you like it does to Bill.

  • The question is... has Jesus been glorified by the miracle? A KINGDOM DIVIDED CANNOT STAND. I used to over analyze what happened at Bethel Church in Redding. I heard all sorts of nasty things mostly spread by nasty, very religious people. Then I went there... Jesus is adored. Love is the focus. Manifestations that glorify Jesus are the seal of proof. The poor are fed with no strings attached. Pastors are humble (NOT MONEY HUNGRY BY ANY MEANS) This is a church with it's head on straight.

  • Amen, you speak rightly about bethel.

  • Well, you know, atheists do nice things for people, Mormons and JW's do nice things for people. It's the theology of Bethel that is wrong! They don't preach the Gospel of repentance and Faith, just a gospel of "signs and wonders". When's the last time you've heard any of them preach on sin and the Cross? You won't, it's not important to them, just ask them or listen to their messages on Itunes, it's the most man centered "church" out there! Bill's dad would not be happy right now.

  • Raideragent, from what I've seen and heard from Bill Johnson, he seems to be seeking the true Kingdom of God in spite of any controversy that may arise. I don't agree with everything he says, but if he isn't of God, then he will be proven to be false. In the words of Gamaliel in Acts, "But if it be of God, ye will not be able to overthrow it; lest perhaps ye be found even to fight against God."

  • He's already proven to be a false teacher, in this video, what else do you need? BTW, the "Kingdom" talked about in the NT is mostly talking about "Jesus" He is the Kingdom! BJ takes the whole Lord's prayer way out of context. BJ completely backs Todd Bentley too, he's a proven false teacher as well. I've never heard BJ teach the whole, True Gospel of sin, judgment, and righteousness, Jesus' death on the cross, nothing. He thinks it's a secondary issue, just listen to his messages.

  • As far as us taking God's power into our own hands, I don' think that is what Bill is preaching. God GAVE us His Power!! In Luke 10 Jesus sends out the disciples in pairs and says to heal the sick. After they return, rejoicing He says in verse 19, "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. "

So, I think He does give us the power and authority. AND He DOES tell us to go out and prove it!

  • So you think our words carry creative force like God's? That's what Bill believes. We are not little gods. I don't think you realize that about his teaching---it's very similar to mormonism---if we're good enough, we can have the same authority as God. The Scripture in Luke applies to God's apostles, not to the general population. There is an authority structure in the Kingdom that Bill completely sideskirts. WE ARE NOT ALL APOSTLES with the same authority as those first twelve.

  • "if we're good enough, we can have the same authority as God."

I didn't say anything about being good enough...we obviously aren't. But the word does say that we are co-heirs to Christ. What Christ did makes us equals with Him. When God looks at us He sees Christ's blood covering us.

Also, His word says that He sent out 70...the apostles were 12. So, I think that He does send us out with His power. We aren't just common people to Him. We have been choosen for Him and to live out His will.

  • We are never equal with Christ. We are his brothers and sisters, but He is God. We have the same right to salvation, but never the same authority. If you're deceived on this point, you'll never get what I'm telling you.

  • I am not saying that we become mini gods after accepting Christ. I never said that we receive the authority to BECOME God. What I'm saying is that God DOES give us His authority over all the powers of this world and of darkness. Not over Him. And the things that cause illness, etc. is the Enemy (who we have been given power over). As Christians we are called to be LIKE Jesus and to do what He did. That includes signs, wonders, healings, etc. If we don't claim that we are missing out.

  • John 14:12,13

12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

We can ask for things in His name and in fact it says that we will be doing greater things than He did! If I'm reading this scripture wrong, please correct me but it seems pretty clear.

  • This is my interpretation, but I just realize that since I'm not equal with God, I don't have the "Spirit without measure" and therefore it's not possible to have the same outpouring. So what does this verse mean? I think it refers to the greatest miracle of all----leading people to Christ. The indwelling of the Spirit is the greatest of the signs and wonders---but it's not a showy miracle. It shows me God is a humble God who doesn't parade Himself. Read the description of love (God) in Cor.

  • Also, I just wanted to say that no, I don't think that OUR words have creative force but I think with God's power, through GOD, they do. There is such a HUGE difference there.

  • Read the last two chapters in Bill's book, Dreaming with God: Redesigning Your World Through God's Creative Flow. He says explicitly that your words carry creative force and that prophecy is declaring what you want to happen by looking at omens (for anyone reading this, send me a private message on this explanation). I hope you part ways with his teaching after examining the antibiblical tripe in that book.

  • read proverbs 18:21

  • The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. Jesus told the disciples they would receive power when the holy spirit has come. The same one we have. I see people healed, demons flee, because of the authority given to me by Jesus, it is all done in the name of Jesus. I love you bro but be careful. The bible clearly states that our words have power, so you are in error there but that doesnt make you a false teacher. You are drawing people to Christ. the Greatest Miracle. God bless

  • Why is everyone in this movement obsessed with "power"? Ever notice that those signs and wonders were only for those people at that time, since they didn't have the whole Word of God, like we do? The signs and wonders were to help authenticate who Jesus was. Lots of people at that time said that they were the Messiah, but none could back it up, Jesus did. Plus, you always see preaching accompanying the miracles. Let's be sure not to lift ourselves up over Jesus.

  • Also notice what you said, " the disciples will receive power...' That was for them, not you. They were going to be representing Christ at that time. Remember, the Bible was written for us, not to us. Context context context. You sound like you're a Word of Faith'er, is that right?

  • So you think the "apostolic age is over too right?" I have seem Jesus work miracles through my own life. so I can tell you by witness and experience. That it is for us today!! Jesus is Lord!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with you wholeheartedly. I am not my own. And the Jesus declares that WHOEVER believes sign shall follow. And yes we must be led by the spirit in who we pray for. Hear what he is saying and do what he is doing and nothing less and nothing more. Everything is done for the glory of God, not us.God bless you. Hope that clears up my stance.

  • Read Mark 16:15-20. Those are the words of Jesus, and because I believe them those things happen in my life bro. I love you with the love of Christ but come on dude, I am crazy enough to believe what Jesus said. ARe you?

  • Well, we're not going to change each others' minds here. "Gifts" are a non-essential. Bethel, Bill Johnson goes way beyond these, all he does is tell stories all morning long about these so-called "miracles", gold dust, gold fillings, angel feathers, he does astral projections on stage with others, he doesn't believe that Jesus was fully God and fully man while on the Cross, which is heresy. I've never once heard this man preach the full Gospel of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

  • The problem I have with Bethel is that they teach another gospel, they teach all about so-called miracles, all the stuff I listed earlier, and never preach about justification, sanctification, sola Scriptura, nothing. It's all fancy talk that tickles the hearers. Nobody that attends that "church" can get a full explanation of the Gospel. They may be "healed" but they won't have their sins forgiven because that is secondary or worse for them at Bethel. Check out my videos, you'll see.

  • Every service or gathering at Bethel is all about miracles, which none of them can be verified by the way, they are obsessed with the supernatural and aren't afraid to admit that. Bill Johnson claims to be one of the new "apostles" in this so-called new "apostolic reformation" whatever that is. It's all goofy, and un-Biblical. Again, check out my videos, you'll see some weird weird stuff.

  • 1st - The key word in that sentence is "WORKS". Not miracles, signs, or wonders. 2nd - Jesus gave his edict to the disciples/apostles the commandment & authority to heal BEFORE PENTACOST. 3rd - How can humans nowadays command people to be healed? How can we know 700% that Jesus wants them to be healed instead of going home to heaven? ??? WE CAN'T. Because Jesus didn't tell us face to face to go out and heal all the sick people we come across.

  • We never lift ourselves above Jesus. For it is only through Jesus that anything is accomplished. Jesus said that those who believe would operate in healing. God would confirm his word with signs. The gospel is more than words as Paul preaches, Paul says that he comes in the demostration of the power of the Gospel just as Jesus commanded. Jesus is glorified not us. To think that anyone can perform miracles to glorify themselves is ridiculous. Everything points to Jesus.

  • i WILL NOT KEEP THIS GOING, BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, YOU THINK YOU KNOW...........BUT YOU DON'T. YOU HAVE TIME THOUGH KEEP READING YOUR BIBLE IF YOU WISH TO KNOW MORE, GOD IS FAITHFUL AND LOVES USE ALL HE WILL REVEAL ALL THINGS TO YOU

  • This concept of our words having the power to change reality is a concept in the occult and mystic teachings. The Bible says that "our tongue holds the power of life and death", but it doesn't say that our words change reality. This is an addition to God's Word. Our tongue may very well cause us to sin if we utter words that constitute the unforgivable sin that Scripture describes, but God does not give us authority to work as He does. Otherwise, we could speak to rocks and they would live.

  • Friend, I submit this concerning words changing reality. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."(Rom 10:9) "If any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creation, old things have passed away, all things become new." (2 Cor 5:17) Words changing reality. "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God." (1 Pet 4:11) "God, who...calleth those things that be not as though they were." (Rom 4:17) Bless you

  • These verses don't support the idea that anything we say becomes the Word of God. They only suggest that we should strive to only say what God would have us say to men. You need to leave this man's teaching and cling to the Lord. If you ignore my warning, when you get to Heaven, I think God may ask you, "Why didn't you listen to the warning I sent to you about this man's teaching?"

But, perhaps you can't see the evil in it, huh?

  • Friend, it is not my contention that anything we say becomes the Word of God. I say only that the words we speak change our perception and, thus, our reality. All rhema is to be backed up by Logos. Mthw 10:36-37

When God said, "Let Us make man in Our Image," up to that point, all we know of God is that He Is a speaking, naming, blessing, good-seeing creator of things that bear according to their kind. This is what Jesus showed us, & this is our Model. We are to speak what the Spirit tells us.

  • "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, YE SHALL SAY unto this mountain Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you." Mthw 17:20

"WHOEVER SAYS to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast in the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes those things which HE SAYS will be done, he will have WHATEVER HE SAYS." Mark 11:23

This is faith at work. Speak what the Holy Spirit has authorized & do not falter, & visible reality must conform.

  • I'm talking about the positive confession movement. If I said that I speak financial blessing to you because it's something that you need, but I don't ask if it's God's will, how is that God's authority? It's not---it's man's. That is what Bill says. He discourages people from asking for God's will while praying for healing. Why would he endorse praying for God's will in any of his material? I haven't found ONE instance in my reading Bill's stuff that he does. He acts on his own, falsely.

  • In Matthew 6:10 it reads: Your kingdom come Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

God's will=What is in Heaven should be brought to earth. We should pray for His heavenly Kingdom to be brought to earth. There are things that aren't in heaven such as illness, fear, needs, etc. So, as a people we should pray and believe that God will provide these things. So, I completely understand where you are coming from though but to me personally God says what His will is in this scripture!

  • The verse does not indicate that now is the time when God's Kingdom will come. Look in Scripture for the return of Christ. That is the only Biblical precedent for the timing on the coming of God's Kingdom manifesting on this earth. We should pray for good things, yes---but only if God gives us direction on what to pray for. It's not God's will that everyone be physically healed, or there wouldn't be sick people on the earth. He uses sickness to draw us closer to Him--read on Paul in the Bible.

  • Also, I really hope you don't take offense to this conversation. It's really blessing me because it does prompt me to continue to search the scriptures and really ask God what is true/right. I'm not saying that I take anything that Bill or any other pastor says for Gospel truth, because it's just not. But I just think that the point he is trying to make is valid. But obviously that is just what I've found after reading and studying.

  • I don't take offense, and I appreciate your loving attitude towards me. I know the Holy Spirit is drawing you closer to Him by prompting you to search His word. Read it daily and study the context. I will show you deeper things on the point he is trying to make and how it conflicts with the Word.

  • Oops, didn't mean to post that twice!

  • Very profound when you think about this exhortation/teaching...

  • Typical 'charasmatic' message....confuses the heck out of people.

    he waffles on & on.....then there's no conclusion.....just confusion.

    boy oh boy !
