  • I love it how at at 0:50 Edgar wants to trade you something for the fork.

We're going to be in SO MUCH trouble once ravens find out how to make gun powder

  • I'm surprised it didn't try to steal some fries!! :P

  • Were you guys just moving into that house is that why there's no furniture? I dont get it O.o I've always loved Edgar though :)

  • @Prfctdrk - Yeah, I was just moving in :)

  • 2:15

looks like he stuck the pen into the bag :D

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy - he did :)

  • What kind of ravens are these? Are the American ravens or african or something else....?

  • @hardminder - Edgar is an African hybrid raven.

  • where did you get those ravens

  • @mikebalboa25 - I have a raven/crow rescue and sanctuary.

  • It would be awesome to train a bird to steal jewelry

  • You should set them free, they are pecking the ground because they think they are in the wild. You've closed them into a room. Which is wrong.

  • @Australiano75 - ugh, that's all I can say. You know nothing about me. I rescue crows and ravens, and these birds don't live in a ROOM, they live in a large aviary, they're only playing in this room. Do you research before you judge.

  • @euromerc Ugh sorry to let you down missy. You don't seem to be a good carer then, they should be in their aviary (if you have one), why do you think they are pecking the ground? Because they think they're in their natural habitat. On top of that, you are eating in front of them, which is a kind of taunt throwing forks at them and joking with them. You state that raven behavior is gather prizes, wrong, they gather food and act to according to gather the food. Here they are lost.

  • @Australiano75 please, study before talking. The Corvid family (its a family of birds) are smartest birds, whose inteligence is similar to great apes, and whatnot, ours. I highly doubt they are lost in that room, they know what they are doing there, they know this lady, and they know if she is a threat for them or not. and believe me, if they thought she threw stuff at them to hurt them, she wouldnt be there. Its obvious this lady takes good care of them.

  • Respond to this video... I would just like to ask you, why did you have them in a room while you were eating? Were you healing them? And what professional credentials do you have to rescue and care for these birds? Or are you just like the crazy cat woman down the road who collects them regardless if they are sick or injured? And for someone who says "had them since they were babies"... geez thats a long time to care for them... When are you going to set them free?

  • @Australiano75 ~ all my birds are handicapped or imprinted on humans. That's why wildlife rehabilitators bring them to ME.

  • @euromerc wow, please dont get a bad impression about australians from that idiot.

not all of us are close-minded hicks.

Ive raised plenty of birds myself, and it looks like you are doing everything right. giving them mental stimulus and playing with them is for their better, otherwise they go nuts and start pulling feathers etc. very healthy looking birds, kudos on the caretaking.

@australiano75 i would suggest removing australian from your name if you want to make uninformed objections.

  • @Australiano75

Any animal can be imprinted on humans, and they'll do as they please. She's obviously not enslaving this bird. I don't know what's with all the shitty animal justice vigilantes...

  • @Australiano75 gtfo peta fag

  • Where do you get a pet raven?

  • @therockguitarist96 ~ Corvid Ranch, in Alabama. You can google them.

  • So ravens don't fly much?

  • @valttu94 ~ Yes, they soar.

  • you should do intellegence tests on them and have them learn new things so they keep getting smarter

  • @olivia614 ~ You don't have to do anything, they just keep getting smarter, til they can outsmart you ;)

  • i love how hes like 'i have a pen.' and struts around with it

  • that is so cool ,how did you train them to stay with you like that?

  • @finster37 ~ I've had them both since they were nestlings.

  • @finster37 ~ I've had them all since they were babies.

  • why are you eating chili cheese fries on the floor?

  • @TheSpiralHill ~ I think the reason why I'm so close to my animals, is that I get down to their level. By sitting on the floor, I'm less threatening to them, and they come to me to visit. In this case, I had an empty room and I took them out of the aviary to visit with me and there was no place to sit.

  • Nobody can outsmart the raven! He's awsome I love him!

  • Do you have any videos on your rescued rats posted on youtube? Do you train your ravens to do various tricks for treats?

  • @LISAB68 ~ There's only a couple. One is of Josephine the rat, and another is 3 rats and a cat. All my rats have gone to rat heaven now :(

  • @LISAB68 - I don't train them to do tricks. They are the original "tricksters".

  • lol he looked insulted when you said don't peck me

  • @Japaneseshibainu ~ They are VERY smart :)

  • i like how u used the same fork.

    BARF

  • @soupkin ~ I also like to french kiss my animals.

  • @euromerc I do the same with my dogs

  • @euromerc why dont you french kiss me

  • @soupkin ` Cuz I just used a fork that my raven had in his mouth.

  • @euromerc french kissing animals is so sexy!

  • dude just wanted to use your fork to eat some chili cheese fries too, don't hate

  • fucking want one

  • This beech has got the life!

  • 01:37 that's a big fucking bird!! hahah

  • @Prfctdrk compare him to the lady next to him

  • nice

  • This woman has a clean living style.

    Nevermore.

  • @spottedlpelt ~ like children, ravens playing makes a mess. You don't clean up the mess WHILE they're playing; you wait until they're done.

  • I got a feeling that he's gonna bury that pen! Glad you catch it before he bury the fork someplace else!

  • I love your videos !!

It would be AWSOME !! if you could post some videos of your ravens flying and vocalizing.

I used to have a crow ,he was awsome. Lived outside in my yard ,nd loved having baths and running though the sprinkler. He also loved when I fed him pinkie mice. However he couldnt fly. I found him walking in a field. Turns out someone shot his wing.

  • @BlobChicken13 ~ I don't know if I can catch them doing both at the same time!

My first crow had been shot in the wing :(

  • @euromerc A video of them doing on or the other is fine too ,lol.

    Also thats sad :(

I dont see why people would shoot these beautiful ,intelligent birds.

  • Outsmart the raven and he returns with friends for round two

  • I want one lol

  • nice videos where i live i see ravens everyday they are very smart catching moles and mice and going threw peoples garbage they are like bigger than cats very big my puppy is so afraid of them cause they are so big but can you keep them in the house all day or do u let them go out side i live in a city btw thanks

  • @SolarBrute ~ Mine stay inside because of the West Nile Virus threat. But they are allowed to fly all over the house :)

  • Where do you get pet crows from?

  • @Koroush51 ~ They're not pets. They are rescues :)

  • The crows are so cute.

  • 0:15 "Beak man"

  • @MasterJericho85 ~ good ear :)

  • How old is your sister eating chili-cheese fries???

  • @kittyfan01 - Why?

  • @kittyfan01 ~ That's actually me with the chili cheese fries, and I was 56 yrs old at the time.

  • I don't care what others say, I think it's very admirable of you to care for animals that most people feel aren't worthy of love. I've always loved ravens and crows, and if I ever got the chance to have one as a companion, I would definitely seize the opportunity happily. They truly do not get the respect they deserve, they're so freaking smart and I cannot understand why people choose to overlook that fact.

  • @XJean ~ Thank you for your appreciation for my work, and you love for crows and ravens.

  • Since ravens are very smart, I wonder if we can toilet train them?

  • @tinjmail ~ don't think so :)

  • Why does your place look like trash?

  • @SantaNoob ~ That could be because RAVENs are playing in there and they like to tear things up?

  • @euromerc So you leave it on the carpet?

  • @SantaNoob ~ No, we pick it up and clean up AFTER the birds are done playing.

  • are you these ravens' new pet?

  • @gg2000gg2000 - It looks that way :)

  • You guys lead a disgusting lifestyle. Just saying.

  • @Kincha ~ Thank you for your JUDGEMENT...

  • @Kincha Hey. Every walks of life.

  • Two related questions:

    - What's their diet?

    - What's their poop like? Is it as messy/stinky as a native/NA crow?

  • @LCBrink ~ It's all the same because they all eat the same. The main diet of my birds: American Crow, Corvus Corax and Hybrid, is Science Diet Puppy food. And yes, it's messy and stinky.

  • I love watching ravens. I'll sit in my car in a parking lot and just watch them hop around like sporadic mental patients.

  • @oOBNOo ~ I actually stop and park my car when I see ravens in a public trash can. They're so funny. One gets on top of the trash can and digs through it, then he drops it to the ones below. Regardless, whatever he pulls out ends up on the ground.

  • they look messy those two birds

  • @spacemonkey187 ~ They ARE messy :)

  • carpet muncher

  • Is it even legal to have crows / ravens as pets?

    First time seeing this.

  • @13kumiko ~ It's illegal to have migratory birds unless you are working under a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or veterinarian, or in the case of Edgar, he is an African hybrid raven not indigenous to the U.S.

  • @euromerc How did you get these guys?

  • We don't get ravens where we are, but I so wish we did... always a pleasure to watch vids of them. Thank you for posting ...x

  • @lemez100 ~ I hope you're lucky enough to suffer the same fate doing something that comes natural to you :)

  • @lemez100 ey fuck you sound lika REDNECK

  • stupid people indeed, oh i mean smart birds

  • Man I love these birds.

  • 0:59 the raven just wants to trade the thingy with the fork... XD

  • The raven is awesome, but wonder could you teach it to fly into a bank and fly out with a wad or notes. the perfect crime.

  • how do I make owning one at home happen?

  • They could be good garbage collectors. Let's put these collector birds to work.

  • @dawson01912

Or garbage ejectors!! They know when trash day is here, and come in groups to comb through the garbage cans.

  • I wanted to mark your wonderful video a favourite but by accident hit on the star-rating, but it should be 5 stars in stead of 3!

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you for enjoying it. We enjoyed makig the video!

  • I think you can rate it again if you wait a day or so.

  • Your ravens are unique. I like watching videos and such on ravens and crows for that matter. But I currently have a peach-faced Lovebird that I adopted. But I enjoy your videos. ^_^

  • All birds are unique and wonderful in their own way, and a gift to us that receive them. Thank you for watching :)

  • Huh, is it legal for a raven to live in a human home? I've heard that it wasn't, but I need more sources. xP

  • Hi, if you scroll all the way down, you'll see that Edgar is an African hybrid raven not indigenous to the U.S. There is also a comment about the migration status of crows and ravens in the U.S. by AZbirdgirl :)

  • Oooh, fancy. Thanks!

I don't think I'll be able to raise one for many years, but I do adore them. I really love animals of higher intelligence, since they aren't so much of "pets", but companions!

  • you have a pet raven?! i am so jealous! but then again with two cats, i don't think ravens are the best idea...

  • I have six cats! LOL! Cats don't mess with ravens.

  • lol! i know, i was thinking about what the raven would do to the cats! ... six cats?! wow, you must love animals!

  • sono bellissimi ......sei troppo brava bravissima

  • Edgar got your sister good

  • 0:26 -> funny :D

  • How much was the watch?

  • I think $12!!!

  • I'm thinking of getting both my birsds their own forks for x-mas.

My prayers are with you and your new baby.

GB your vet too. Smart person.

  • LOL on the forks :)

  • mine are potty trained. Somewhere I have pics

  • No way. Silver ware, forks in particular have always fascinated Corvids. That and Tattoos.

  • I was eating chicken and rice out of a bowl today, and Edgar flew away with my fork again.

  • actually i think he steal the fork to get to the meal, if u leave the meal and chase him, i think he will go for your meal

  • He'd want both! But he thinks the shiny fork is a prize ;)

  • From Corvid Ranch. Google "Corvid Ranch", and they will come up. They're breeders.

  • It's important to remember that native ravens and crows cannot be legally owned in the United States unless you have state & federal permits: Corvid Ranch sells NON-native birds.

  • Thanks for differentiating :)

  • How did you obtain a pet Raven?

  • what did he do with the watch? did he break it?

  • Mine poop all over the house, but I suppose you could train them like a parrot to stay on a perch. Some come with jess' on their legs, so you can fly them and perch them.

He didn't break the watch; he just didn't want Ricky to have it :)

  • If you tell them the toilet is the privy. In the bathroom both bat around .500 in my house. But the doors often not open accesible to them.

  • how do you stop them from pooping in the house? can crows or ravens be potty trained?

  • They just poop in the house! Usually they're on a hardwood floor. I think other people have potty trained them; some leave them on a perch like a parrott.

  • That is too funny. Steals your fork! LOL

  • gosh i love these birds to bits XD

i hope the little guy i rescued today survives!

  • Thank you. I feel lucky that they chose me :)

  • This may sound strange, but I've always wanted to meet a raven. How did you manage to acquire 2 ravens? They are beautiful!

  • My Raven is a hybrid African Pied Crow/white-necked Raven, and I got him from a breeder. They are not idigenous to the United States. The other bird is an American Crow, which I rescued when he was a chick, he was covered with Avian Pox, and I rehabilitated him. He became imprinted on humans!
