Be afraid, be very afraid... it's a wonderful revelation that 1/4 of a decade of murder and horror can be ended by a mere boy years younger than disease. Brent Leung saved the world.
Xavier is actually a highly educated man who knows exactly what he is talking about. He has worked in Africa and has helped with the supply of antiretrovirals so anyone who has not seen the film, or feels the need to throw insults, should probably go and do their homework
You're absolutely right! Shame that he only got a 2:2 in a media arts and didn't do any science A Levels. Sounds more like a retard than a 'highly educated man'.
The well know, highly Credible Spectator Magazine is holding an special screening of House of Numbers. Another credible media outlet gets behind this film and sees its importance.
As far as I recall, the scientists in the film have publicly issued statements that their words were taken out of context, that they were deceived, and that they do not support or embrace this film.
As far as I recall the director has asked on numerous occasions for them to point to specific areas and make good on their claim. Till this day they have never done this. Seems like they are simple embarrassed about what they said. I am glad they have YOU to do their dirty work. I would not want to defend scientists that won't defend themselves but rather hide behind a wall of unsubstantiated claims with a wall of silence.
YOu never answered my credibility. What credentials do you have other than giving your uneducated, uninformed opinion?
I can see why you are mad. It goes against everything they taught you. It is like your dad whom said he loves you now tells you otherwise. That is why you are mad and come to terms that this whole industry is falling apart. I feel your pain dude.
a issued statement NOT signed by any of them. Just something someone wrote up on their computer and got on the internet. NO one in the film actually signed anything. LOOK AT ..do you see any signatures ?
@borrofburi, not really fair to say they were taken out of context when they are answering questions, uninterupted for minutes on end... Sure, these docs probably were unaware that the film would give credence to alternative theories, but why should that make their answers any different?
Well in my opinion, people should be allowed to make their own choices on personal health matters.
I don't know any dissidents whatsoever who are attempting to make the AIDS meds illegal, or to ban them. It is simply an issue of making it possible for people to have ALL sides of an argument.
There are MANY scientists in the relevant fields who do not recommend AIDS meds. How many people who are HIV+ know about this?
"There are MANY scientists in the relevant fields who do not recommend AIDS meds."
What proportion, out of interest? Specifically in the fields of virology, immunology and infectious diseases? Ballpark.
0.01% of scientists think the world was created in 6 days and is 6000 years old. Should we give their opinions an equal hearing, equal credence, to the rest of the community? AIDS denialism is a fringe belief within the scientific community. But it plays well to the public.
What about the drug manufacturers who produce drugs that kill people faster than their disease does, charge so much that even if the drugs did work (which they DON'T) the people on the medication would be left penniless and devastated from the side effects.
AIDS meds save lives?
You mean, SHAVE lives surely, right?
lol. Ashamed of himself you say...
That's quite possibly the most ignorant thing I have heard all week.
Brent Leung is indeed a hero.

HOUSE OF NUMBERS I read today won it's 7th Award for Best Documentary. Guess more and more people are waking up to the importance of this message.

Documentary awards are not a measure of scientific accuracy. Nor is critical acclaim.
