look at the first 25 seconds of this, the great Maradona calls Bush 'a piece of grabage' says it all about your fucked up country you have gone from a nazi dictator to a nigerian plank and there is still nothing you can do about it.
Check out the Tumbleweed site to get some context on that price. Actually, just let me paste the important part. Directly from the Epu (this house) section:
@seume Exactly!! I have a company that builds just about the exact same thing, we only charge 9,000 for our base price but honestly we could probably build one for about 6 or 7 thousand.
I would but I would buy a real house after we are married so we can have a family. lol. There's nothing wrong with this small house. It's actually pretty smart because you have your own place with more privacy than you would have in an apt complex and don't have to worry about rent each month considering it's the price of a car. lol... And if u get married & keep it, you can rent it, or use it as a pool house or something.
lol a free american, do they exist? maybe on the plains and prairies well over 100+ years ago, not anymore you're slaves to the capatlist movement. you are brain washed into consuming and following the ways of 'celebrities', look like them, talk like them, act like them, BUY THIS PRODUCT, cheat on your partner, feel bad buy and feel good. I guess by oppressed asshole you mean middle east? believe what you see on cnn, msnbc, fox news, its all garbage and warping your mind.
nope. not american. and i have better manners than some racist person who goes around bravely on youtube getting personally offensive with strangers behind the false safety of anonymous monikers. if you had to deal with 60-80 divorce cases per month at work for the past 12 years, you'll come around to my way of thinking eventually. i am not american, and i think they have some issues too, but i don't go blasting them just because they were born on a different continent.
The thing they didn't touch on is that the house is built on a trailer so that it is easily transported. That is where the true novelty comes in. And since its on a trailer housing laws does not apply, it still has hall the legal liabilities that a trailer has.
It's a 96 SQ FT RV, it's not a house, & it costs $45000.
$45000 gets me just the RV, no land.
Because it's a RV, I can't put it on just any piece of land. I'll have to find land that's zoned for a trailer. I probably won't find land like that in town.
$450 / SQ FT, for something that depreciates & makes me live in a trailer neighborhood in the sticks.
@runegamer002 Oh yeah, My parents live in a 1978 Mobil Home with wood heat on the Grand River. They have about 2.5 acres of land and a net worth of about $20,000. All the catfish you can eat. Beer is just an 8 minute boat ride. Sounds kinda like Heaven. I live in a room above my leather shop and $600,000 would almost retire me at the age of 27.
Much cheaper to just get a used camper or convert an old bus. I lived in a school bus for three years and it had a lot more room than that! Still have it even after I finished my house.
Not a good idea. Over-priced at $45,000. You can buy a full size house for that price. A full size house appreciates generally, which makes it an investment. Where would put all of your stuff? Not a good idea for full-time living.
I think this house is just like a laptop. Since it's smaller and more portable, it's more expensive, but just as laptops have the advantages of portability, so does this house. Though, the 45K price includes some pretty high end stuff like the stainless steel countertops. You could easily lower the price by downgrading in materials and building it yourself. I believe a woman in Washington built her house (designed by Jay) for $10,000.
I would not pay $45,000 for a house that small, you can get a house at that price, it might not be new, but it would be bigger for that price. I just can't see anyone paying that much for a small house like that. I mean its very nice, but not for no $45,000. sorry but not worth it.
@blade75964 i know, it's crazy how much prices have changed, my mom bought her house like 25 years ago and it was like $21,000 two stories. geezz i guess my generation is gonna have to stay home with mommy, there's no other choice lol, back in the day ppl could move out at 18 and rent an app, uhmm now a days, not happening!
Ive seen your channel and dozens of your videos, but mainly just for ideas. I cant see forking over 45k for 96sqft.
For 45k I can build a 4 shipping container home off the grid and have enough left over to make one of these. Im not the type to pay out the nose for labor when I have the carpenter and metal skills to do it myself. Besides, building it myself is so much more rewarding, and I know the quailty will be good.
@unclesonnyonutube - We sell the plans so that you can save on the labor costs. When we build a house the labor costs are certainly the most expensive part of it. One of the great things about our houses is they can be made in your back yard by folks like you.
@supertoaster7 I agree, except for the trailer part. you know this is a trailer right? that part is an automatic like $5,000 right there, just that bit. I'd say you could build this house "all decked out" for $20,000 yourself.

$4000 for the trailer it sits on, a trip to Home Depot and $7000 cash builds this shack.
@idrobinhood I know your post is over a year old, but I,m actually thinkin' about doin' that! I can buy the shippin' containers for about $2,000 apiece from Louisiana! Here in Mississippi I could build a house for like less than $10,000!

Plus, no landlord, no roommate, no neighbors, no mortgage, no property tax, and the energy bill is less than $10 a month.
Not to mention, the place isn't a shithole.
