Yeshua (Jesus) said we would not know the day or the hour. He was talking to unbelievers in this passage. The Bible gives a time line but the Holy Spirit has just recently revealed this as the Prophet Daniel said it would happen in the last days. The book of Psalms gives this time line.

@doncalvito11 The Bible is not a copy of the Summarian Texts. I've read alot of the Summarian texts and they are very different from the Bible. Like the Story of Gilgamesh is very different from the story of Noah. They both may have a common source, but one does not copy another. The Summarian texts are more pagan than anything. I don't think the pre-Rapture is going to happen..because there are alot of verses in the Bible that says that Christians will be persectuted but the one that remains till the end will reign. also the makes mention that a post rapture AFTER the anti-christ attacks Chrisitans will happen..So people we might have to endure the attack of the anti-christ..it might be a test from God. But we will not face Gods wrath but the antichrist
@Jerseygirl8999 Why in Revelation we see the 144000 of the tribe of Israel sealed by God, but we don't see anything about what the church is doing during that time? The church is sealed right now. This 7 years is Jacob's trouble or Israel's trouble. If u believe that we have to go through the tribulation to be saved, then what Jesus did on the cross wasn't finished. what I meant when I said "why do Christians get to be speared just because we have faith in Christ" was that in the Bible we see sometimes YAHWEH allows bad things to happen to His children like he did with Job..Just because we are children of God does not mean we will not have to suffer in this life. Jesus said we will be persecuted just as he was persecuted. Christians are no promised a life of bliss just because we have salvation. Like I said what ever happens Im ready to be with my Savior
@Jerseygirl8999 I, like you, are faithful in the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I study Bible versus's all the time and I just want to bring something to your eye, Im not 100% sure yet of the pre-Tribulation Rapture, but why would our Lord Jesus Christ make us go through what He went through, that would mean that His crucifixion meant nothing because He died for our sins so that we may be forgiven and not damned in Hell because some of us chose to follow His true righteousness
@pimper347 If the Pre-trib happens then praise the Lord Jesus Christ...I will be the first one to jump up and down. But it seems unlikly that it will happen. I was once a believer in the pre-trib rapture theory but now I am post trib. Christ never saved the Apostles and He never saved the early Church from the hands of the Romans, he allowed them to be persecuted and most slaughtered for their profession of faith in Him. Why would we be any different from the early Christians & disciples.

@pimper347 Your confusing the second coming of Jesus Christ with the rapture theory. Post- tribulation people believe that Christ will appear at the end of the tribulation not before. The merging of the earth and heavens does not come until AFTER the Great White Throne Judgment, this has nothing to do with the tribulation, until God gets ride of the dis-believers and condemns them to hell the world will remain in the state is in.

In 2 Thess. 2:6-7, Paul says "the one who restrains will be taken out of the way" before the Antichrist can be revealed. We believe this refers to the rapture because the Church is clearly the biggest obstacle to the Antichrist becoming a world ruler.

@Jerseygirl8999 Jesus said He would prepare a place for the Church in heaven, then He would come again to receive us to Himself. Why would Jesus prepare a place for us in heaven and then not take us there? At the rapture, He will come to receive us to Himself, "that where I am (heaven), there you may be also." If the rapture occurred at the same time as the second coming, we would go up to the clouds and then immediately come back to earth. That would contradict John 14:2-3.

When the antichrist stand up in the temple and claim to be God, there will be 3 and a half years until Christ come back to the earth to set up his kingdom. Like when the Isrealites went through the Red Sea, God didn't fly them over, but he protected over, and like Noah, God didn't take them out of the Flood, but protected them through it. 6000 years from Adam's creation can be calculated by using the geneologies in he Bible. I forget the details, by I remember that the date I came up with, taking into account leap years and the old 360 day jewish year.... was something like February 12th, 2013. Not sure where you got the 2017 idea. For that matter - why does it have to be 7 years? A time, times , and half a time can mean 1260 years as well. I'm thinking that Jesus' return could be much sooner than many people think.

Yeshua (Jesus) said we would not know the day or the hour. He was talking to unbelievers in this passage. The Bible gives a time line but the Holy Spirit has just recently revealed this as the Prophet Daniel said it would happen in the last days. The book of Psalms gives this time line.

Like the Story of Gilgamesh is very different from the story of Noah. They both may have a common source, but one does not copy another. The Summarian texts are more pagan than anything. I don't think the pre-Rapture is going to happen..because there are alot of verses in the Bible that says that Christians will be persectuted but the one that remains till the end will reign. also the makes mention that a post rapture AFTER the anti-christ attacks Chrisitans will happen..So people we might have to endure the attack of the anti-christ..it might be a test from God. But we will not face Gods wrath but the antichrist

@pimper347 If the Pre-trib happens then praise the Lord Jesus Christ...I will be the first one to jump up and down. But it seems unlikly that it will happen. I was once a believer in the pre-trib rapture theory but now I am post trib. Christ never saved the Apostles and He never saved the early Church from the hands of the Romans, he allowed them to be persecuted and most slaughtered for their profession of faith in Him. Why would we be any different from the early Christians & disciples.

The merging of the earth and heavens does not come until AFTER the Great White Throne Judgment, this has nothing to do with the tribulation, until God gets ride of the dis-believers and condemns them to hell the world will remain in the state is in.

Persecution/tribulation is allowed as a way to re-define us, persecution is good for us, James argues that trials test our faith, work or develop (endurance) in our lives, and help develop maturity (James 1:2-4) When we go through the fire our rough edges are smoothed out we become humble.

@pimper347 P5) Again, Christians have been facing terrible persecution since the 1st Century, what makes us think that we ourselves won't have to go through persecution? The rapture theory is dangerous teaching! God is going to let us go through persecution, because he allowed persecution for all his other children throughout history time..we living in the 21st century are no better then those people, again God is the same Yesterday today and tomorrow. We should rejoice when we are persecuted.

@Jerseygirl8999 When Jesus returns to earth at the second coming, He will return from a wedding (Luke 12:36). At the rapture, Jesus is married to His bride, the Church. After the wedding, He will return to earth.
In 2 Thess. 2:6-7, Paul says "the one who restrains will be taken out of the way" before the Antichrist can be revealed. We believe this refers to the rapture because the Church is clearly the biggest obstacle to the Antichrist becoming a world ruler.

@Jerseygirl8999 Jesus said He would prepare a place for the Church in heaven, then He would come again to receive us to Himself. Why would Jesus prepare a place for us in heaven and then not take us there? At the rapture, He will come to receive us to Himself, "that where I am (heaven), there you may be also." If the rapture occurred at the same time as the second coming, we would go up to the clouds and then immediately come back to earth. That would contradict John 14:2-3.

:In the new testament Jesus Christ says that no one can know exactly the time of the second coming but only God...yes we can realize the time is close BUT we can't just tell a number like 2012 or 2017 or something.

@3lf3nl13d No, Christ said that we wouldn't know the day or the hour, but we will know when he will come even unto the door. Which to me we can definitely know the month and year and possibly even within a couple of days, but not the exact day or the hour.

@3lf3nl13d Remember in these last days, more and more is being revealed. Nobody knows the day of the rapture, but you could know the day of the second coming. When the antichrist stand up in the temple and claim to be God, there will be 3 and a half years until Christ come back to the earth to set up his kingdom. But the rapture will happen before the 7 years, that's why it's not mention as being on earth, but in heaven already. Revelation 4,5. People are redeemed, not angels here. Acts 2:38.

@rossdaboss1959 Please don't put words in my mouth..I never once said that the Church needs to go through the tribulation to be saved..and I never said Christ blood was not sufficient be careful of the accusations that you bring on your fellow believers. I KNOW Christ blood was more then enough to save and the atonement that he offers surpasses everything and only by his blood are we given salvation. What I said was we MIGHT have to go through the tribulation..If we don't then Praise Jesus

Like when the Isrealites went through the Red Sea, God didn't fly them over, but he protected over, and like Noah, God didn't take them out of the Flood, but protected them through it. Remember that the believers in Him will inhert the Earth, the only ones leaving are the wicked which will be destroyed.

you can speculate all you want but until it happens no one knows for sure if it will be pre-trib mid-trib or post trib rapture only YAHWEH knows about the final hour..I am a human and I don't pretend to know what YAHWEH has plan with my finite knowledge I would say Post-trib rapture..if Pre-trib rapture happens all the glory and honor to Christ if post-trib happens all the glory and honor to Christ we need to be ready not argue over when or how the rapture will happen we should be ONE body

We will return during the 1000yr reign of Christ to rule with Jesus. Satan will be bound for a 1000yrs. Yet during the 1000yr people live as long as trees. If someone dies at 100yr old they will be considered young and accursed. During that 1000yr reign the only humans who have a immortal body are the ones who were raptured. So since we are glorifed. 6000 years from Adam's creation can be calculated by using the geneologies in he Bible. I forget the details, by I remember that the date I came up with, taking into account leap years and the old 360 day jewish year.... was something like February 12th, 2013. Not sure where you got the 2017 idea. For that matter - why does it have to be 7 years? A time, times , and half a time can mean 1260 years as well. I'm thinking that Jesus' return could be much sooner than many people think.

What this pastor is saying about the end times is correct except for the pre-tribulation Rapture. there is nothing in scripture that support Darbys theory. There are many Scriptures In The Bible which proves the Rapture being a false doctrine, but Will start with what Christ says in Matthew 24:29-31(KJV) [its too long to fit here, but u can go read it for yourself]
Notice Christ gaves us details of what will happen before the tribulation, but he says that the Son of Man will appear with his angels who will Gather the elects after the tribulation. so How is there a Rapture before the tribulation when Christ says He'll come after the Tribulation?

A lot of People have followed, and fall victim to the Rapture doctrine, but Christ's first warning when asked of his 2nd coming was "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many"..... and also Matt 24:22 "22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened" he had to shortened Satan' time on earth other wise there would be no one for him to save when he returns.
