You know, when this engine first appeared in the January 1965 edition of Hot Rod Magazine it was stated that the engine Ford put on the dyno, produced 640 hp at 8000 rpm with one four barrel carb. Check out the article.

i love these engines best engine ford ever made its important to note that a 427ci with a 428ci crank will become a 454ci engine
