Thatcher was the second best Prime Minister this country has ever had, second only to Churchill. She improved our public services and increased essential spending not by raising taxes but by making cuts in other areas. That is what the government must do today. Leave the EU, withdraw all foreign aid except in exceptional circumstances, decommission Trident, scrap ID cards, cut the quangos and non-jobs, cut the Commons and the Lords, abolish devolved assemblies and privatise the NHS.
