Yes. If you adjust your camera to have a long (3-4 second) exposure, a Viper 125mW can easily do drawings.

I would not use tiled walls though because the reflection would be too strong.

Dealextreme lasers are good IF you want cheap poor quality underspec lasers.

For quality that lasts, the Viper 95mW is much better. Green is also a much more visible color than red.
