Hey Grimm out of curiosity what is your top 5 fav brand/flavors of e-liquid? I ordered Cappuccino, rootbeer(already tried and liked) and for kicks I ordered Jasmine flavored out of curiosity. So far I've only ever vaped rootbeer and tobacco flavored ones.

Today, after 4 months of 905 ownership, I had it in my pocket, and it for some reason decided to turn on; and STAY on. The atomizer reached at least 450F. This thing was LITERALLY smoking, MELTED the entire housing out. WTF happened to the safety circuit? Why did this thing keep vaping in my pocket instead tripping the 10second safety? Never again will I buy this FIRE HAZARD. If this battery vented in my pocket, I would be seriously injured. What if it vented at home while I'm out? NOT COOL!
Just bought a black DSE 905 - - Version 3. Art was running a sale at TheVaporPro. It's not broken in quite yet but, still, it's a good (not great) 3.7 volt performer. I think they finally got it right after the third try.....
@GrimmGreen Value Vapor carries DSE-905s. I'm not sure if they can supply parts, but all the stuff they sell is VERY reasonably priced from what I've seen from all of the websites I've been to. Top notch customer service too. Sent them back a dead atty I bought and they sent me two more right away without me even asking. I'm a big fan of their website now I just wished they carried american e-liquid. On the bright side to that I ordered 90mg of e-juice- paid only 33bucks total inc shipping
808? if you are talking about the KR808D-1 cartomizer models i have multiple videos up for that model. Unless there is another 808 that i am not aware of?
that atty that comes with it is worthless!..510 atty adaptor does work great as well..but wtf is with that cleaning cycle??...there is no ryme or reason to it..itll just go on whenever, already melted to tips on it..so now i wont walk away from it with the atty attached...I havent noticed it giving any kind of warning with the lights on mine...youll just either feel it heating up in your hand, or smell melting plastic!!
Grimm. I bought my 905 about a week and a half ago from aquavapor. I BELIEVE it's the same one your using, with the new style top peice because it is very sturdy. I LOVE this thing. It never fails and makes INSANE vapor at 6 volts. I don't bother with the 3.7 batts. I bought mine because i wanted to try it after seeing you break yours. NOTHING bad to say on my end. I use it everyday, every where. The batts last 4-5 days. Thanks for trying it again.

WHOO HOO! dude i love Vegas , anyway , evidently there is an even newer V3 of the 905 that eliminates the annoying bottom mounted on/off switch as well.
Thanks for the re-visit Grimm. There's actually even a newer version out now that removes the bottom switch.. I'm waiting for mine to come in.. The 905 with a 510 adapter works great!!

First thing I did was open it up to check out the inside to see which it was, since I had watched the video last night. Luckily it's a V2. It's my first "mod" and first 901 and I've got to say I'm liking it. Little less flavor than I get from the 510 PTs but about the same on vapor and TH.

Thanks Bill! you're absolutely right about the SB , such a good device for sure. 6v can get a little intense for me sometimes , so it's nice to be able to vape 3.7v for a while just by swapping out the batteries.
hey have you tried throwing two CR2s in that thing to see if the switch can hold up? i kno its a garbage-ass PV but hey if you can cram a couple of CR2s in it, that thing may be the cheapest high-voltage device on the market
It uses a MOSFET and tactile switch which is a very reliable combination, the lazer pointer uses such an arrangement. Any voltage should be handled ok which is more than can be said for a lot of switch designs out there(the chuck for example). It will take 2 CR2's if lower section is drilled out to increase the size. Someone one ECF did a review of such a modification.
I would only use this 905 V2 only for the use with cartomizers, it will work very well with cartomizers using a adapter. And I still think that the China made 905 V1, or V2 are not worth the money. For a few more dollars invest in a USA Mode.
you say that ur not that happy with the 901 now days, do you mean at 3.7V or for everything? because i saw in your other vid u said that with ur PS PT 901 is ur favorite.
When it comes down to it and all is said and done, what we are talking about are battery holders with fittings for whatever atomiser you happen to want to put on it... whether it is a DSE905, a BB, Protege, Screwdriver, Spade.. or even the originals (Titan and DSE901).. that's all they are.. a way for a battery to activate an atomiser.
Can it hold a big battery? Is it durable? These are the two questions that matter.
If the DSE905 v2 can prove to be durable then it's just as good as the rest.
yeah you are absolutely right , all mods are just battery holders. Which is why i look for unique things like the LED's on the Spade , or the finish , or the feel. Those things also decide how satisfying my experience is as well.

Just bought a black DSE 905 - - Version 3. Art was running a sale at TheVaporPro. It's not broken in quite yet but, still, it's a good (not great) 3.7 volt performer. I think they finally got it right after the third try.....

The V2 is MUCH better than the V1 , it's actually a pretty solid device , I bet it's pretty good at 6v also.

Cool , at least you got the V2 , it's not a bad mod. I'm not a huge fan of the 901 atty... but it's ok , the 901 really shines at 5v and 6v.

yeah after a couple of days use I will definitely be getting a 510 adapter for this. I'll have to set that 901 aside until I get an HV mod.
and I'll be damned if that cleaning cycle hasn't snuck up on me 2 days in a row lol
got to pay more attention to that light ring I guess.
