  • It is depressing this guy isn't running America.

  • Ralph Nader is a hero honest enough to never get elected by the US baboons.

  • the Taft–Hartley Act is blatantly unconstitutional ..and of course pushed by republicans to destroy the unions from having any power to combat corporations..Truman vetoed it but was overridden...republicans have always been anti-labor pro wealthy-business yet they convince people to vote for them even when they are voting against their own interest ...amazing

  • oops, I guess maybe I should have voted...

My comment is especially ironic given that my state went Obama by over 70% and they'll probably continue on with their pattern of self infliction for the 2012 election because they don't understand just how drastically media control effects their lives and the lives of our victims around the world.

  • end the fed

  • and as long as the house and senate is run by conservatives and wimp democrats none of that shit would be done in a Nader presidency anyways, prez has little power if the house and senate would be against you

  • Poor Nader, one of the few REAL candidates not bought by corps.

    Nader 2012!

  • Nader for Senate anyone?

  • agree!

  • i wish people would see how good nader is for us

  • i love you so much Mr Nader ....... even my name is Nader too

  • This guy won't win AmIRRRRRic'as vote because mass amounts of people don't want to 'GIVE UP THEIR BOMBBBBBBBS'.

  • Government tit has created a large loyal population. As much sense as this guy makes he would never be voted for by the people.

  • Brilliant.

If had gotten elected, though, he would have been in for the fight of his life. The corporations would try to rip him to shreds. It's a fight that needs to happen though.

  • This dude would need a pope mobile, political/human assassination attempts.

  • I would take a bullet for any president, but for Nader, I would be his personal bodyguard 24/7

  • did you know that airplanes can't fly through buildings? nader knows. don't you, ralphie. *wink*

  • Where can i get this in writing? searched campaign site but not thoroughly! want something written down...thank so much...

thank u mr nader and mr gonzalez for speaking truth to power. we need u now more than ever...let's get to work!!!

  • nice list to restore prosperity for America, health care, no tax on labor, costing corporations, justice, equality, bring the troops home to save taxpayers .........

  • The Shadow. 10/26, Shatuck cinema, Berk.

Set is an unnamed country, this psychological thriller dares to take on issues of political repression under Obama. When author Sean Pen is promised corporate promotion of his new movie, in exchange for his teaching at an exclusive institute, for a year, he agrees. Sent to this think tank, Sean eventually realizes that for him, as well as for all the other progressives who worked to elect Obama, that he meets there, in the spa, at the bar,

  • , that he meets there, in the spa, at the bar, escape is not an option. The corporate operation seeks to reprogram these thinkers into puppets of the pro-war Obama government to prevent the rise of future Ralph Nader types.

  • Sean and the other try to escape, but discover that just by voting for Obama, they have brain washed themselves so deeply into the new fascism, that they cannot escape. This movie presents a glimpse into an internal critique of limitations on freedom of expression and how voting is a form of self brain washing. Shown 10/26, 12noon, Shattuck Cinema, Berkeley.

  • YES! I like all of these ideas. Repeal Taft-Hartley Act of 1947. The government caved to pressure by corporations and passed this anti-worker, pro-employer act. It allows "right-to-work" laws, like we have here in Texas, which prohibit unions. It also prohibits unions from contributing to political campaigns, but allows companies too.

Yeah, that's of, for, and by the people, right? Don't waste a vote on the 2 corporate parties. Vote Green. Vote Nader. Vote for you

and me and us. Not for them.

  • first !00 days of healing America, President Ralph Nader 45 years of public service, NO WALL STREET BAILOUTS

  • Iraq 6 month withdrawl, israel, health , wage , corporate crime, corporate subsidy , public works, us international elimination of Nuclear Bombs, power to the people

  • Are you prepared to consume a fake "Debate" once again? - paid for by your "Friends" on Wall Street

    Nader & Paul

  • y would u vote 4 any1 else?

  • If we lived in a perfect world, Nader wouldn't need to be President.

  • In a perfect world, he would be U.S. president.

  • god bless Ralph Nader

  • Nader for the win.

  • Ralph Nader is the only candidate who actually convinces me he has a real and honest clue what will happen when he comes into office.

    Kudos for that, Ralph!

  • Only third party candidates are saying what needs to be said!

Forget democrats and republicans support Nader/Gonzalez and make it a three way race!

  • socket accounts

  • The High Noon Report Sept. 10, 2008 Obama -- 82,957, 3 day increase 2,001 Ron Paul -- 53,232, 3 day increase 121 Grandpa McCain -- 18,265, 3 day increase 1, 042 Bob Barr -- 4, 031, 3 day increase 48 Ralph Nader -- 2, 011, 3 day increase 98 I've been busy videotaping Nader at the Vittum Theater in Chicago. It should be up on my YouTube channel VideoNewsService soon. Subscribe to VoteNader08 it's fun, it's free and it matters.
  • 3 day increase OF 1, 042 for minipa is worrisome

  • well never mind I forgot that a typical repukes

    has 30 sucket accounts

  • its about average for Grandpa Nader has been doing better but it's still not enough we need some days with a thousand plus subscribers. It's got to happen soon. Jesse got us 78 in one day. I talked to Nader last Sat. in Chi and told him about my idea of debating Ron Paul on econ issues - he liked it. I'm writing a letter to Paul D.C. office about it can you do the same?

  • thanks for all your efforts

Hans (farmanntv) worked very hard for Ron Paul

please consider writing to him and invite him to join us, may be now that Dr Paul has endorsed third party he would consider

    watch?v=_aBoRcCiy7A

    we have got to unite

we the independents are the majority

  • Ron Paul and Ralph Nader are holding a joint press conference this morning, urging voters to reject Obama and McCain for a third party candidate. I hope Paul's strong base, united with other 3rd party choice, will help garner public support for nationally televised, open debates.

  • If you listen to NPR and you want to help promote the third parties' message, ask NPR to provide more coverage for third party candidates because apparently they think they are providing enough coverage to them. See: npr(dot)org/ombudsman/2008/07/covering_thirdparty_candidates.html

  • If raising minimum wages worked then why not just set it at $100 an hour?

  • I was there. Open the debates!

  • Nader you need to talk about economic policy:

We are in a Depression. This is serious. The main change our economy must make is to shift to a 30 hour work week, for all Federal & state employees. This will create 20 million new jobs for all hi school & college grands. By 2012 a few more people will realize we must have a 30 hour week, at 40 hours pay, to reform our whole economy.

  • I think I"ve said enough. I don't wanna be accused of being a troll. Damn Youtube's comment character counts.

  • these buisines' would get the corporate welfare that McDonalds gets each year so they can advertise in singapor, or some of the 20 million worth of corporate welfare pillsbury gets each year to advertise the "Dough Boy" in third world countries. By giving these companies a bonus for keeping their employees, the unemployment wouldnt be so bad at the time of min wage increase.

  • Why? In 1984, people were addicted to TV, to keep them from noticing that they were slaves. Being driven like Lemmings into pointless wars, to make the banks richer & richer & richer. Now that is funny. How is Fox funny? Big Brother Obama was sent to entertain you. To make you feel good about his new "good war" in Afghanistan. Why does TV exist? Is it to keep you enslaved to laughter??

  • Nader ... you need to start talking about economy and monetary system

there is no economical freedom if the govt isnt encouraging savings and responsability with money ...

stop bailing out wall street ... and bring me sound money! GOD DAMN IT!

  • And then what? We just raise the fucking min. wage AGAIN? And AGAIN? It becomes an endless cycle, and before you know it, you've got people working at McDonald's flipping burgers making $20/hour!! Just for flipping burgers, something just about anyone can do! Doesn't Nader understand economics? You don't pay ridiuclously-high wages for low-skill employees that are dispensable. Just b/c some of them are working mothers or parents doesn't mean ALL are. Let these parents go to their employers.

  • have you been watching too much of fox noise

I think you may have media transmitted disease

watch this, but forward to minute 2 if your attention span is as short as mine

    watch?v=oJhSCk0qHEM

  • Then don't eat burgers. I don't hear you whining about CEOs being given $100 million a year, no matter how much THAT costs you. So, you've got NOTHING to complain about minimum wage-earners, who do REAL work, making $20 per hour.

  • Or this crap about favoring solar (inefficient) power over nuclear. All b/c he's afraid of "nuclear waste" and "where are we gonna put it?" who cares! Let's worry about that later. The country is fucking huge. I'm sure we'll find somewhere safe to store it. Besides, doesn't France reuse its nuclear waste? Why can't we?

Nader, don't mix up stupid crap with good issue positions. The min. wage at $10/hour is just gonna become meaningless in the next 5 or 10 years when inflation goes up.

  • Whoo69, '"afraid of "nuclear waste" and "where are we gonna put it?" who cares! Let's worry about that later"'

HAHA! Worrying about things later is what we've done for centuries. When do YOU suppose "later" should come?

  • You need lots of water to cool the waste and it has to be flowing and COOL which requires more water... We're having water shortages water will continue to become more scarce and not more plentiful. Do you see the problem here?

  • That is one of the DUMBEST responses I've heard. The country is "huge" you say, right? Then, there is no problem if homeless people occupy unused public, government-owned land, right? And, if any cops try to stop them, then you'd have no problem if I blew away the cops, right? Yeah, right. You're so full of shit. How about we dump the nuclear waste on YOUR property, Whoo69. There's "so much land" - apparently that's not accounted for - that you can always pick up and move elsewhere.

  • I have just one question: You say you want "UN-sponsored elections" in Iraq. But why? You of all people must know how inept and corrupt the UN has gotten over the years! Why the fuck would we trust THEM to manage the Iraqi democracy? It's silly! We should work with our allies for a real democratic coalition to monitor the elections, not the inept UN. The UN is a weak, frail, dying old woman.
