@Batongirl997 I hope this is a joke, but no. Household bleach is a completely different thing and will not work. It is not for use on hair.

I'm new to this so please don't laugh, but when you say bleach your hair do u actually mean with like clorox bleach?

@SillasScrapper hair bleach, don't ever use clorox or straight peroxide on hair, you will hurt yourself lol, anywho, for bleach, you would want a bleach developer (the liquid, it comes in different volumes, 10 being for very light hair, 40 for jet black hair) and bleaching powder (you would want a blue or violet based powder) and mix the two together, more developer than powder forming a pasty consistance. You can get these products at your local beauty supply store such as Sally's.

I have been dying to find a simple technique for the higlights in the bangs, I have a pixie cut and I saw a purple that I'm dying to get.... which is best to use, demi perminant or perminant? and using bleach, will the color last longer? (i have naturally dark brown hair)

i just died my bangs like this exept i used clairol natural intincts n the color was raspberry creme. i love how it came out. thanz 4 the vid. n also if i put my bands the oposite direction i get a chunk of red wich also looks awsome : D

I'm freeking out! I'm putting dye in my hair fr the first time but I'm only doing my bangs cause theres a chance the dark brown will turn black *My hair color is gold by the way* and I'm never dying my hair so I thought my bangs would look cute higlighted and seeing yours has really helped. how do you know how long it is prosesed for?

Processing time is going to vary for everyone. Bleach can process anywhere from 5-60 minutes, depending on how much lift you are trying to get. After bleaching, always shampoo the bleach out. If applying color, follow manufacturer's instructions, but most color processes for 20-30 depending on the brand.
