According to Lexus of Bellevue this car is built on the chasis of a european Camry. Yes, the technology is cool. But you want me to pay $45K for that exterior? No thanks. Lexus fails to impress me with their watered-down "luxury image". This car has cheap wood-grain and a funky looking exterior.
@xsasha92x you must realize that the "environmental" aspect of this car is somewhat offset by the fact that the nickel used in the batteries must be mined, often by a plethora of huge equipment running on old, unrestricted diesel engines. also, i would call "a few thousand dollars" a fairly large price jump, especially in a car meant to save money in the long run. paying for a name doesnt make sense, ITS STILL A TOYOTA!!!
I cannot believe Lexus still has the same clock in their car that they had in 1990, so ugly and archaic. It's 2010 Lol- Ya Infiniti has the same thing but theirs has style!
the front overhangs on this thing make it look awkward. The carbon footprint on Toyota's hybrids are worse than Hummers and Range Rovers. People who buy these things are jaded, and ill-informed. Fuel savings will NEVER recover the cost of this tech. Fail

@xsasha92x
hence a good marketing tool. This isn't helping the environment, this is stabbing it rather than burning it.
