No offense, but that first quote was Gandalf, talking about their being one Lord of the Ring...However, I can imagine Obi Wan saying that about Palpatine, too!
To you, and to all of those saying some nonsense about Gandalf. None of the quotes were said by Obi-Wan or Gandalf... The first quote was by Palpatine to Anakin Skywalker in Episode 3 during the Opera. The second was by Palpatine to Vader in Episode 3 during some of the final scenes of the movie after Mustafar.
GREAT video, and GREAT song choice! I think the only thing it needs would possibly be the scene from ROTJ when Luke takes his father's mask off, and Anakin dies as a hero.
Great video. I don't believe in leaving insipid comments, so let me say:
The cuts were genius. It was well spliced and edited.
I didn't quite get the song choice at first, but I think now that it makes perfect sense. It describes the Jedi mindset during the Rise and it underscores that good part of Anakin, however deeply buried it may be, that we all know comes out in the end.
I love the parallels in this song... Ever is Obi-Wan offering Anakin a chance to take the side of light (to take Christ), but like the typical human, he would rather do his own thing, and ends up fighting for the wrong side. I pity those who are lost. 5 stars.
Originally I envisioned it from the perspective of crispy-critter Anakin and his twisted relationship with Palpatine/Sidious. Unfortunately, by DVD drive doesn't want to cooperate so I'm stuck with what clips I could borrow from the trailers.
Cool...especially liked the last minute

haha, it's about time someone joined my two greatest passions: God and Star Wars. Thanks for making this.

Good video, but the song doesn't really make sense with the video, seeing that the Jedi don't worship a god at all . . .

Well, they have the Force, which is an all-knowing something that guides the galaxy's history down the road it wants.
So....close enough maybe?

That quote is from Lord of the Rings, "there is only one lord of the ring, and he does not share power".

i love that quote!
anyway, great video!

I wouldn't say that Lucas copied Tolkien, cause I'm very sure that Obi-Wan doesn't say that. Sorry if he does and I'm blanking. But great video!
