In later episodes, Blake says more than once that Krystle's accident, which is causing her illness, was "A couple of years ago", & that it was due to her falling from the horse when she lost their first baby...obviously, his idea of 'a couple of years' is different to everyone else's. Krystina must be at least 4 years old by now....
TVGUIDE pointed out in 1988 that this was the best episode of the show in years, and it is. The plots are actually going someplace for the first time in ages.
Screw the gowns or baubles. I want a storyline. And by Season 9, we finally got one.
@prueisgr8 Probably - David Paulsen (Producer for Season 9) said in an interview recently that when he took over Dynasty he looked into the possibly of bringing Pamela Sue Martin back because she was loved by the audience and yet Emma Samms wasn't - up until this point anyway! He apparently changed his mind upon speaking with Emma and realising that she had much more potential than she was showing. He had her work on her American accent and gave her much better storylines ie. Zorelli etc.

I just cant understand how Aaron Spelling could let this show slip so far from grace. The glam and elegance is all but gone. No beautiful gowns, jewels, furs. And don't even get me started on that blue wall outside the Carlton they just chose to ignore. I wish Dominique, Caress, and Dana were still apart of the story. They could have done way more with Caress then they ever did with Shawn and his failed attempt at revenge.
in season 6 Joal Abrigore hits Krystle's head and that is the couse of this tumor in her head...it explains everything...why she sometimes behaved strangly...
actually that was the closest that weve seen of the old fallon, if emma had played it like that from the beginning we might have accepted her in this role.....
The new exterior is so cheap! The sky is just a blue wall and the structure (door, windows) is different of the interiors! The should have save money to have more of Joan Collins that year instead of wasting theirs dollars to build "that"! The suite of Sable was the only nice scenery built that season...
were they going to add "sky" and forgot about it, or did they simply not care? the attention to detail was close to non-existent by this time. what a shame, given the improved writing of season 9.
Krystle HADN'T been herself for several years --- Linda Evans' acting wasn't the same after Season 2... It was nice they finally provided a "logical" plot explanation for it.

Oh, Krystle had so many head injuries over the years, it's hard to determine exactly which one caused the problems. Perhaps it was cumulative.
