i have a 2006 r7 fork and i'm planning to try dirt jumping on my bike but afraid of spoiling it,so is the r7 tough enough to do dirt jumping?

the problem with all mtb forks is they are happy to use cheap brittle parts and they dont use motorcycle spec parts. when they start to use the same strength as motory cycle stuff i will be happy. also the price for the amount of metal used to manafacture them is a complete con.

How do I fix the lockout on it? I was messing around with the hard to turn adjuster reboud buttom and immediatety the lockout feature stopped working.  Thanks
