  • Nice video, it looks a great experience and my wife would love to do it. Make me feel really guilty that I wont book a flight up but.......I am s*it scared of heights! The only way I will ever experience it is through this video.

  • I think you might be okay actually - once you get airborne, you're so high with no close reference points that the you lose your perspective of height. And it definitely helps if you look towards the horizon and enjoy the view rather than looking directly downwards over the basket!

  • looks like they have done a few repairs since last time i was on the roof? am curious i thorght there was a no fly zone around the sheds? or was this all planed in advance? nice vid

  • I can't comment on the NF zone, but the balloon pilot had definitely performed the same pass of the shed and landing - he knew exactly the distance between the shed and the boundary fence, and landed between the two. The shed was being used at the time for the new Batman film, and there were a lot of film crew and security staff there - they didn't seem to mind, and the recovery vehicle was let on the premises with no problems

  • at 1.53 in the middle is the old pond i used to have a raft on and play when i was a kid. cool vid again lol.

  • Great to see this! I used to live in Cardington Village, the other side to Shortstown, where the balloon sheds are. I can recognise a lot of the scenery, including my brother's house!

  • amazing stuff, thank you so much for sharing
