@einoros i just felt it was kind of a contrast by deleviring some good amount of challenge only THIS later on... it only felt strange, but the last level is sure good too... except the fact you dont engage the boss! That sucked for me...

The last level is obviously one of the best level. Those of you who hate it obviously isn't up to the challenge and suck in the game. You can't expect all levels to be easy can you?

Just finished this game on PS3. Was a great game, but like a lot of ppl mentioned, the last level was crap. One of the things I had been enjoying most about the game was that there was no time limit, or points awarded/deducted for the time you took on each level. Took me about a dozen attempts, but I found using the thief in the last level was the easiest way to beat it.

i see a lot of complains about this game being hard...it really isn't.

but is that all games have become now? mindless fun since the wii's release? it seems no one can appreciate a challenge and just want everything to be handed to them. what happened to the old ninja gaiden or megaman/x series, or other incredibly difficult - yet rewarding - platformers?

trine was fun, wildly innovative and incredibly easy. trust me, trying a level 20 times is nothing, that should be expected in a platformer.

Was even harder doing it multiplayer. I had to do it several times and had to decide who did which player at certain areas....and what they did at those specific areas. Like theif runs ahead and destroys obstacles and 2nd player as wizard starts building planks and stuff.

Me and my sister kept exchanging roles when things got crazy! Esp with areas hard to climb we took turns becoming theif lol

Great game but some really annoying problems. Like spiked ball not pushing you back when you touch them especially the small balls. They are hard to see sometimes and then your dead! Also the last level was just a bitch of a level! No enjoyment in it really. Other than that what a great game!!!! The back and fore grounds were amazing. Best indie level design I have ever seen. Just a pity about the spiked balls:)

I completed it on hard. I was expecting more complex puzzles and yes I agree the final level was a bit frustrating.

Overall still a refreshing game to play.

Great game, a little easy and quick, but a lot of fun. About the repetition in the game, this does make for some dull moments. I enjoy using the wizard in any situation I can. The floating platform gets you out of a lot of trouble in this game. I'd rate Trine 87%.

This game could be some much better. I kind of got the feeling it was too easy and the puzzles weren't difficult at all and you didn't have to combine the trio powers to complete them. In addition the characters are unbalanced. The thief is probably the best character and I found myself playing most of the game with her. The knight however is pretty useless as you can kill all the enemies with the thief and blow up things too. Still I liked the game but it could be better , hoping for a sequel.

the top of the tower is the best battleground. lots of skeletons undlessly spawning and a checkpoint in the middle. i sometimes just get out my stormhammer to just fight b4 completing the level

Ah, I just loved the ending (especially the part with the poor wizard :D). Nothing special, but still sweet. This was such a nice game.

And I don't get BladeAndSoul. Do you play Shooters and wonder how you can unlock the "Bake a cake with Master Chief"? PvP really wouldn't this game a favor.

Lastly, why the complaints about the last stage? You have to show that you mastered the character's abilities and be fast with it, kinda what you would expect of a final level.

Yeah does look like its on easy cause the knight regains full health at the checkpoint after his death. I played this on medium and it was shit hard! Completed it after like thirty tries or so..seriously a bitch of a last level...

awesome game glad i watched a video of the ending though. kind of don't want to finish it now. on the last level and its getting annoying cause i keep miss timing my jumps. added with the fact that there is no final boss fight with the creature that is kind of a big let down after doing all that work to get to the top.

BladeAndSoul... you can always pirate it. lol... It's not that hard since it doesn't require a CD-Key/Crack...

Anyway. I thought this was a really really good game, very repetitive though, since most puzzles could be solved by either a box or a plank. I mean, sometimes you had to use a floating triangle to grapple places, and I even figured out how to fly with the Wizard using planks, so that made it even easier. A last boss battle would have been fun, instead of just uniting the 3 artifacts.

I've been going for the Better than Developers! achievement on this level. So far it's been going pretty good, but there's that last little bit near the very top with the two tiny rotating things, and I just can't seem to get past that point :l
