It's a really cool music festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. The cost of the ticket is around £100 (whatever that is in dollars) and it's held in a 14th Century Fort with the main stage inside it. Definitely worth going to. Flights are horrifically cheap to that part of the world from the UK, I spotted one for £9 single from London to Timisoara, Romania (4 hours from Novi Sad). Defo check it out, Exit Festival.
I hate it when people go on and on about how tourists get ripped off in markets. Yes, you probably could have gotten in cheaper if you were with locals, but you get a good product for less than you would usually pay, and they earn more money which they probably need. It's win win really, only stingy people would try and barter it too low.

that dish is called "btata maasla", its sweet potatoes you boil, peel then cut in dices. in a pot you put some fine sliced oignon that you soften with the butter, once they are soft, you add two table spoons of honey, one spoon of sugar and the dried raisin, and a tea spoon of cinnamon. you stir the mixture on the stove at a high temperature. when its caramelized ( turning golden brown) you add the diced potatoes, stir for two minutes. and voila, enjoy :)

I guess I know that house where you were staying, one of my friends lives in the neighborhood, next time you wanna visit Rabat, go to Mohammed V university and ask for the English department, you can find people who speak perfect English and who are welling to show you the city for free, specially if you mention that you're Phill's GF. By the way, there are tons of places in Rabat you didn't see that are very beautiful...but you also went to the most famous parts for a first time visit

@LinzLoves Look, I'm not mad that she was trying to communicate with the driver. I'm mad because of the way she was all like "OHH! (repeat whatever the guys says rudely)". I know she probably trying, but it just seemed like she was trying to be funny or was being rude. I've lived in Europe, I'm from America, and when American tourists act like that, it makes all Americans look bad, and it makes it harder for us to travel and communicate with the natives. I know I should have worded like that.

@seksypankake Actually, I'm from America, but I lived in France a few years back, and it was extremely hard for people to get around the American stereotype that that girl, I think her name is Ginger, acted like. That wasn't only in France, it was all over Europe. It wasn't just me, it was the whole group I was in. It wasn't because of who we were, it's because when people like that girl go to other countries, they try to be funny or whatever and people get pissed off at them, and hate everyone.

yeah I agree with @umaar50 they rip off tourists all the time, not just in Morocco, but everywhere really. a local could've bought that bag at a less touristy place for like 10 bucks. if you make friends with some locals they would be willing to take you to shops or souqs not made for tourists where you can get some cheap-ass stuff.

@rayads786 harira looks nothing like that, and baklava is not a moroccan pastry, it would be hard to find, and tajin is the generic name of the recipient the food is presented in but also the categorie that about a thousand morrocan dishes falls under. ie: tajin btata ou zitoun, tajine mloukhiya, tajine elleft mahfour....
