No, actually in Japan they don't really lipsynch. Maybe it's because they don't dance so much as in Korea. And just in general, Korean singers have their "active seasons" where they are REALLY busy. Singers of a caliber like Boa or Dbsk have to perform at least once a day or so at their peak time, and it's just impossible to sing live ALL the time.

They always lipsing like Ayumi Hamasaki. And fake girls like Morning Musume. But korea, they put it to 99.99% to it. The dancing and the singing. That's why you see lots of korean dance way better than Japan.
