@PatrickSchafer1969 : With desktop computers, at least, the motherboard often still has a pin header to connect a speaker to, even if the computer doesn't come with a speaker connected.
@SomethingUnreal oww noooo :( it's dead?! :( :( :( i was bored and suddenly thought of bleeper music maker ( i saw on my channel some 8 bit shit, and cause im bored i looked at some of em then my brother started his pc and it went BEEP :P then i suddenly thought about bleeper music maker wich i last used couple years ago :P
but links all dead? do you still have it so you can pm me it? or fixed link in the description maybe?
MPU-401 is available because I have a PCI soundcard with a "joystick" port. That port is the MPU-401 port. Delta AP MIDI is another PCI soundcard with a proper MIDI output port, and Yamaha XG Softsynthesizer is a software synth made only for Windows XP.
Yes - in the Bleeper Music Maker download there are several pieces of music which I've made for the program. You can see several of them here at YouTube if you search my channel for "bleeper", but there are a few other ones (usually incomplete) included too.
@twinsroc: I didn't transfer anything from the PC onto the keyboard. The music was made by entering notes on my Bleeer Music Maker program on the computer. As the computer plays the music, each note on/off message is sent as a MIDI message to the keyboard using a standard MIDI lead. You need a keyboard which accepts MIDI input, and a soundcard which has a MIDI output. There are also guides online which show how to mod a soundcard with a 'joystick' port to send MIDI output and accept MIDI input.
after i extract the bmm zip files i can't open the application . it say " component 'COMCT232.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registerd: afilee is missing or invalid " and when i hit Fix DLL OCX it say " run time error "75: path/file access error"
If you're using the latest version of BMM (revision 144), and you're using Vista, try running the Fix program "as administrator". Whatever OS you're using, please check the info.txt file because there are instructions on how to put info about the files into the registry (which is what Fix tries to do) for if Fix fails to do so. If BMM still fails, please send me a message.
Sorry, please download the latest version now (I updated it about 20 seconds ago) - there was a bug in that "Fix" program for some computers. It should work properly now. =)
No. The primary purpose of it is to let you create music for playback on the PC speaker, although the current version of the program (revision 143) lets you play MIDI files or live MIDI input, too. For printing sheet music from MIDI files, I recommend "Melody Assistant" by "Myriad", although there may be freeware alternatives.
Sorry, I forgot to mention how unreliable my server is. At the time you tried to download (about 15:46 GMT), my interenet connection was down. It's back up now, though.
Have fun! =D
P.S. BMM revision 132, which features MIDI IN without a limit on the number of simultaneous notes, is very close to being released now. ;D
Nice, and I'm glad you like the feature. I tried to show that you don't have to have an external device (keyboard), but you can also use the default synth which XP uses to play MIDIs. ;)
I cant get anything to go through my PC speaker. I am on Win7

ok i downloaded it and went to open it and something poped up that says
"Class not registered
you need the following file to be installed on your machine
MSSTDFMT.DLL."
any idea wat it means?
rauggo 3 years ago
Of course I have, that's why there's information very near the top of the 'info.txt' file included with the program. ;)
In fact, running the "Fix DLL OCX" program included with it (make sure you've extracted all files first) should fix the problem.

can you make a video of the MIDI keyboard playing the unlocked girl song from your other video
mfsinc 3 years ago
Sure, I'll include that in the video of the next BMM release (132). ;D
I think it sounds quite good with a piano, although in the next release you'll be able to change the MIDI instrument. ;)

cool, thanks :)
