@pokmalac001 had the same problem as you. Found out the fault was that I used the same Host name as in the video, when I should have picked the one given under my Cpanel->MySQL. (there you will find what hostname you should use for your account)

Awesome!!! I recently graduated and learned scripting from scratch, its good to know just to have the experience. Also for maintaining or updating a clients site from a previous designer. Just stumbled joomla about 2 days ago. So far from what I'm seeing it seems to be the best alternative to writing code for "weeks" and still having compatibility issues for diff. browsers once you think your really "finished" with it. Joomla might have just changed my whole game plan.!!!!
