Before the Veitnam War, Edward Landsdale (CIA, USAF) ran a propaganda campaign to say there were Virgin Mary appearances in the South Veitnam to get the Northerners to leave. You lead by power of example not by lies. To this day Veitnam is still hurt by the Veitnam War caused by America and the Church.
