I got a dreamcast with 2 controllers, 2 VMUs, Key board, Sonic Adventure, and Soul Calibur, for 75 dollars.

The Xbox Live version is NOT a port of the Dreamcast version, but the Arcade version. You don't have any of the old single player, just the arcade mode, which is a shame. Just re-bought a Dreamcast so that I can once again 100% this game.  I miss my old VMUs. :/

I remember playing Tekken Tag all the time at the arcade. Then it came out on ps2 and had way better everything. Kinda sucked cause it made playing it at the arcade pointless.

I've never gotten the chance to play this game, but I recently got a Dreamcast, and I plan to find a copy of this game on eBay or something. Oh, and I'm gonna start saying "Straight up and down, like six o' clock" because of this review.

I think Time Crisis for PS2 looked MUCH better than its Arcade version also. Maybe House of the Dead 2 as well?

Dreamcast should've been top selling console, it's graphics were amazing. Online play and a very advanced voice recognition system make it a very incredible console.

I think the only reason why Dreamcast wasnt successful is because everyone knew that the Playstation 2 was coming out and that was much more highly anticipated than the Dreamcast which I honestly thought was a shame because I thought The Dreamcast was pretty dan good when it came out.

No the Dreamcast was actually outselling the PS2 when the PS2 launched. Sega just couldn't afford to keep going

a quality game!, and it didn't push the dreamcast too much, from what I read, it's only pushing 1 million polygons, the dreamcast can push 5 to 6 millions!

don't forget dreamcast had broadband adapter too that you could replace the modem with. this game was also a launch title and the dreamcast wasn't used to fullest potential either. dreamcast also did graphics different instead of drawing everything it only draws what you can see on the screen. no wasting power for stuff covered up or behind you.

the dreamcast was only around for 2 years. in that time it came out with a lot of games and they all were good. wasn't really a bad game on dreamcast. it failed because of ps2 with the dvd player. the ps2 was the cheapest dvd player when it came out. it also failed because of sega's past with the segacd,32x,saturn messed up release date. it came out 4 months earlier then was suposed to in the US so game developers didn't have games ready for it. also hurt 3rd party support on the dreamcast too.

another thing that effected sega was "Bernie Stolar". look this guy up. he said that "rpg's would not work in the US" he was the reason the saturn was released 4 months early. sorry about saying so much. just thought i would say something about it.

the dreamcast has the vga box is is basically hd quality as far as i am concerned. try hooking up through one and hooking up to computer monitor or something and compare the xbox and dreamcast versions. pretty sure you wouldn't be able to really see a difference in them.
