what is the meaning of "HIKIKAMORI?"

good question,a hikikomori is basically a person of social withdrawal,pulling away,being confined.simply putting it as a recluse.hikikomoris can(remember i said CAN and not will) move out of their parents homes to live alone. basic activity would obviously be eating,watching television,or using computer.they would go out perhaps at night if they were to move out to buy food.not all of them are "losers" as some(Takashi Kotegawa) earned 2 billion yen in 10 min cuz of an accident with a company

I seen it a little but not that much. I was pisses when they went into the second season and in the intro they took out the trumpet.

thanks for watching,and in my opinion its great althought its like only 23 episodes and the ending left me hanging =[ its about a guy call satou who is a hikomouri(one who lives and isolates themselves in their house for 6months or over) and he also think everything is against him or is a conspiracy like the NHK and then a girl came to "save" him.that pretty much sums it up lol

He has his neighbor to talk to and goes to lesson on how not to be a hikomouri that Misaki gives. If he doesn't go he has to pay a 1,000,000 yen fine. Satou also has a little crush on Misaki. When he goes to crowded places thinks everyone hates him and are looking down on him and saying bad thing when they are just looking at him yell. I love this anime but I only got up to episode 16 because the anime network took it off and I can't find it english dubbed anywhere.
