i dont really like the way they depicted hecate, she wasnt supposed to be bad or good. she is the queen of witches and since recent times witches are viewed badly, back then they wernt really

Hades wasn't more evil than any other god either. But he was the most feared one, as he was the lord of Death. No one wanted anything to do with him, so no temples were built in his honor, and people hardly dared speak his name. So it just makes sense, that he became the evil god, basically the ancient Greek counterpart of the Devil, in Disney's version of this universe. I guess Hecate is another ancient deity, who got a bad deal by Disney, because witches have traditionally been seen as evil.
