1. @ everyone, this video is obviously sped up, look at the environment,
2. @ tastew01 is that what they say about birds that attack their reflection on a window asshole? this scenario could easily have hurt or even killed the iguana
OTS? ORGANIZATION FOR TROPICAL STUDIES? independent project for what ultimate purpose? This isn't being funded by tax money i hope, as for scientific method, mirrors are not encountered in the wild and as was mentioned, this scenario could injur the animal.
they say the black iguana is the faster lizard species in the world. you think that's true?

Actually I would say this isnt sped up, if it is, then only a little bit. C. Similis is recorded of being one of the fastest living lizards.

1.Yes the Organization for tropical studies. This research was approved and supervised by faculty.
2. Purpose: to understand how aggression displays relate to physical traits. Testing theories of honest signaling in iguanids
3. This scenario never placed animals at risk, and was first reviewed by several Professors.
4. Mirrors are established tools for behavioral experiments and have been used for decades. They're simple, cheap, and safe.

lol never seen a wild iguana attack a mirror. but that could have hurt the Iguana if it broke the mirror, possably killed it
