  • @jake67544 not every player do that.. meaning the pros

  • if you are right handed, you should use your left hand to rest the cue stick, right?

  • ive never seen so much shit in my life that is the text book way to cue ive seen lil kids in clubs and they do that and look like bunch of nobs have a look at some of my videos ive had 147's and stuff and dont do "" 1.2.3. pause straight through "" just makin a point

  • @jamieclarke147 you've not seen much shit in your life? I guess you didn't read your own comment then.

Oh and I take it you've never played snooker in your life. Cue action is probably 'the' most important thing along with stance and sight.. then comes the pots, big breaks, cue ball control and positional play.

  • @TheWestSux here's an idea, shut the fuck up and do some research before you spout a load of shit. Jamie Clarke is nearly at proffesional standard (although he is an arrogant mother fucker) and you can see the 147's he's made if you watched his videos. Retard.

  • @outdoorpooltable Anyway, as you're such a kid and have no idea how to comment without swearing, being such an illiterate washaway, I'll reply to your jibberish for the others to read. I couldn't care less if he's made a 147. My highest ever break is 56 so I can't compare to jamie's talent but the fact that he calls this "tip" a load of crap is crap itself. It's only a TIP, not a guaranteed way to true success. Some of you are way too serious.

  • @jamieclarke147 Film your 147s and put them on you tube. Ive heard they are difficult to do.

  • @jamieclarke147 147 my ass

  • you shouldnt tell people how to cue

every one has there individual styles

tips help but not telling people how to cue

    :D

  • when i do that my cue moves around but i can't keep it straight any help

  • Get an empty bottle of water and a cue.

using the cue, stroke into the opening area where you usually sip. If you do not touch the edges then your safe.

  • you probably havent got a good stance. both your arms have to feel comfortable.

the cue should be underneath your chin, and you should be looking straight down your cue, like a gun, for aiming.

and then learn to follow through, the cue should keep moving after you hit the ball.

  • to start with you could practice just with the baulk line or the cushion, trying to keep the cue in line, and then once you've got the hang of that actually try doing it with some balls. hope this helps, it's what i got taught to do when i was having trouble with it =)

  • If you watch really closely he commits a foul about 18 seconds in.

  • had to watch 5 times before i saw it though, had to look really closely =)

  • Absolutely textbook!

  • I find it hard to bring a long set pause like this into my game.

  • Not bad dude, the pause has something I need to use more often as it helps you strike the position you want to hit on the ball easier.

  • really, you only want to come back that far with your cue when hitting it really hard. to do a half or quarter pace shot, for example, you only need to go back half or quarter the distance with the cue. Coming back too far can lose accuracy.

  • You can't go too far back if your bridge is at the right length.

The tip would disappear in your bridge hand.

A good pendulum stroke will have at least 6 inches of travel.
