I hope to meet The Great Muta but I have met Scott Norton and he is not like his wrestling persona in the least. He is friendly, talkative and a pleasure to meet. There's a video of here on youtube pushing a bus 100 feet, he is strong.

they did at the beginning with norton vs randy savage at the 2nd or 3rd nitro .  but screwed it up after. norton could have been huge during the monday night wars, and prob gave wcw the edge, before goldberg, eventually keeping the 2 appart or a long time then build them into a huge dream match level mach-up

I agree! I have always felt that Scott Norton built up side by side with Goldberg would have led to a really huge match that people would have cared about. Nash ending the streak was a travesty and pretty much ended any interest I had in WCW or the "Wolfpac" angle. Norton is one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time....in the U.S.

In all seriousness, all this talk about smaller guys not succeeding in the WWE makes me glad that Keiji Mutoh never considered -THOSE- talks seriously. TNA did wonders with the few overrated crap stars New Japan had, so why not give them REAL talent from All Japan? Liger/Tanahashi < Muta/Kojima

It's because nobody has wanted to give anybody from the Japanese feds a serious heavyweight push since Jumbo Tsuruta and Masa Saito towards the end of the AWA. They usually consider them too small to be pushed as a major threat, psssh, Mutoh>TNA Roster

Jamie Noble has had ONE push... ONE, since coming to the WWE. He left ROH as the champion, thinking he finally had some credibility, and back to Velocity or whatever the hell they have him doing. Jimmy Yang is just this year's Eugene, albeit Yang has much, MUCH less actual wrestling ability than Nick Dinsmore... Just another fun babyface that the little kids and goofy adults can get behind, since he isn't pulling a Pollard and telling everyone to go do drugs.

Jimmy Yang couldn't do it in WCW, and he'll NEVER do it anywhere else. He simply doesn't appeal to the mainstream wrestling fan... which is about 90% of America's audience. He has all the cool spots, and solid work rate, but he's still just another Asian wrestler with a funny gimmick, sadly.

The fans in WWE ARE starting to get behind him. And they were even more when he had that HOT girl in Daisy Dukes with him, but she got fired. It's obvious though that the WWE thought u were right, otherwise they wouldn't have given him such a crutch to lean on. asian wrestlers never make it in wwe cause wwe is fucking racist. shinsuke nakamura was suppost be in the wwe, but there vice president G.R. did not want him. he rather a gayass rapper wanna be, and M&M. Bad grammar aside, the WWE needs to build from within, and push their current talent, rather than continuing to push people two days out of DSW or OVW... Steal Muta's AJPW deal from TNA, stick Paul London in a young Muta gimmick, and he's an instant star.

I think the reason that they don't give Japanese wrestlers a push is two fold: 1)Fear that U.S. fans won't identify or get behind them 2) And the reality of the language barrier. WWE has never been about pushing GOOD wrestlers but POPULAR wrestlers. Look at the WWE's history of main eventers before 1997 and you'll find a hand full of actual WRESTLERS and a whole bunch of roid-ragers who could talk on the mich.
