Wow Baylee is a small girl, which isn't bad, but Selena is only like 2 years older and way taller. Don't get me wrong, I love Baylee, but I never realized how small she was! Still adorable at 16!
@07cool10pa Baylee is a bit on the smaller side (just over 5 feet I believe) but realize in this video Selena is wearing heals and the girls are all in flats.

From a "technical" point of view, this isn't the best performance to judge them on. You have to consider that they only have one stage monitor and the acoustics on a talk show sound stage are set up to dampen sound, not amplify it. It's common to sound a little flat or off pitch when you can't hear yourself as well as you'd like. If you want to judge their abilities (with the new lineup), the "Something's Got a Hold on Me" from the backstage channel is where you should go.

Yes, the Cuties sound different without Andi. I loved the way they were, and I like Andi.
But I also really like the way the sound with Mackenzie, and I hope that if Andi's not coming back, Mackenzie isn't temporary. I like her voice. To me, she seems to add a little more soul and less pop to the vocals. It's good. She still has a little ways to go in using her chest instead of her nose (she does seem to struggle a little), but she's already great.
I can't get over how much different Blaire looks now, she looks so older and more mature! Really pretty! ^^ She looks so much more mature than me, and she's a month younger than me. x3

wow, i never heard that andi left, and this took me to a surprise. i first didn't even regognize blaire, she has matured xd mackenzie has a very hard spot to fill, but with the support of the girls and of the fans hopefully she'll make the spot her own. she has talent like the other girls.

@Gesa1994 I don't remember fully but I read that the Cuties were aiming for a recording contract, and Andi's parents said that if they were going to do that, Andi will not, probably due to schedule, be a part of the group.
@kaitlinwhitehead I saw the official announcement from the management people. Andi will continue to perform at Cactus Theatre, (the reason she dropped out is her parents didn't want her traveling all the time) so if nothing else, they'll see her there all the time.
I wish I would have know that Andie was leaving because I would have liked to tried out or something because that would be cool to meet them. Or be in the group..............
@kaitlinwhitehead Kaitlin, the Cuties are part of a much larger group called the Cactus Kids who all take voice lessons at the Cactus Theater in Lubbock, TX. Makenzie has been part of that group for years and singing alongside the Cuties at performances in the Cactus.
I have been reading the comments and I find myself ashamed. I love andi as much as anyone, but she has the right to make this dicision. If she did not wish to continue with the cuties, it was her right. Also, try to remember that Makenzie is trying to take a place with the cuties that just about everyone has something negative to say about her because of their love for Andi. Andi was very special and I will always love her, but give this girl a brake, she is good and will do great.

I do understand they did not mention Andi on the show - I don't think the producers and (most of) the viewers cared so much about the history of the group. wow, i never heard that andi left, and this took me to a surprise. i first didn't even regognize blaire, she has matured xd mackenzie has a very hard spot to fill, but with the support of the girls and of the fans hopefully she'll make the spot her own. she has talent like the other girls.

I can't wait for Mackenzie to blend wioth the girls properly. She hasn't had alot of time but sounds really good and I am very proud of her for stepping up to a big postition. I really would like the cuties to post a video of them just talking to the fans about Andi's leaving and how Mackenzie is really good. I just want them to introduce Mackenzie to the people like us who keep them going. God bless the cuties, their still amazing.

i adore the cactus cuties. they are amazing. i've been watching some of the older vids...it's crazy to see them grown up. So everyone is talking about Andi and Mackenzie, Mackenzie is the one with braces and Andi is the one who had brown curls..right? :/

@Gesa1994 I don't remember fully but I read that the Cuties were aiming for a recording contract, and Andi's parents said that if they were going to do that, Andi will not, probably due to schedule, be a part of the group.

@kaitlinwhitehead I saw the official announcement from the management people. Andi will continue to perform at Cactus Theatre, (the reason she dropped out is her parents didn't want her traveling all the time) so if nothing else, they'll see her there all the time.

@kaitlinwhitehead Kaitlin, the Cuties are part of a much larger group called the Cactus Kids who all take voice lessons at the Cactus Theater in Lubbock, TX. Makenzie has been part of that group for years and singing alongside the Cuties at performances in the Cactus.

I have been reading the comments and I find myself ashamed. I love andi as much as anyone, but she has the right to make this dicision. If she did not wish to continue with the cuties, it was her right. Also, try to remember that Makenzie is trying to take a place with the cuties that just about everyone has something negative to say about her because of their love for Andi. Andi was very special and I will always love her, but give this girl a brake, she is good and will do great.

I totally agree.I am just afraid it wasnt Andi's decision.I dont know how to explain it by using the right words. Maybe its because everyone says: it was a family decision.And of course this is kinda private.But we never heard the CC's or Andi's thoughts.I am just afraid Andi could be very sad.Andi and the CCs are soooo young.I dont want any of them to get hurt.I think sometimes ppl forget that children grow up & things change. @californialinchen I agree with you. My heart hurts for Andi, because as you said, this has been a hard move for her. And whether it was her decision or a "family decision", I'm sure it made her sad no matter what. I do think Makenzie should be given a chance, but what bothered me was that she acted like she'd been there all along. I don't guess I expected them to talk about Andi, but it just kind of hurts watching this and seeing her be completely left out of something so huge for the Cuties.

@Basketball1011995 Remember that what aired here was probably edited for time. They could very well have talked about a lot more than what got shown on tv. Also, they were probably trying to push on and not dwell on it too much.

I do understand they did not mention Andi on the show - I don't think the producers and (most of) the viewers cared so much about the history of the group. But I would expect something more from the CC themselves. When I heard the news I thought they would at least post a video where Andi says goodbye and Makenzie is introduced. I think this is actually the main reason people feel weird about that situation - it feels like Andi was kicked out...

Us true cutie fans will have the strength to pull through these hard times of Andi leaving. I support Andi and I think it would've probably been very harmful on her health if she felt she had been overworked. I love Andi but I think Mackenzie will grow on me and I will soon love her.
Of course I miss Andi and she will always be the original cutie. I am just saying lets find room in our hearts for Mackenzie. It's what Andi needs.

Still love the Cactus Cuties, though I will miss Andi, and need to get the hang of a new person in her place... but videos like this really show how tiny these ladies are - Rachael Ray and Selena Gomez are not tall themselves but they make the cuties look so small. Does anyone know how tall they are? Huge talents - little packages!!

Nothing against Makenzie, but I'm really going to miss Andi. It's going to take a while to adjust to the new group, but I'm sure in time everyone will grow to love Makenzie just as much as we all loved(and still love) Andi.

Okay, let's be honest here. Makenzie is a good singer, but she is no Andi. I mean, really. Granted it's really not fair to judge from one video, but the Cuties just don't sound as good. Even though it was Andi's decision to leave the group, it is unfortunate for the rest of the girls. They will not be the same without her. It appears that Blaire is taking Andi's place... she rocked it.
