Hey, you keep insisting on the white dude disadvantage! looks like the thing you forgot to look at during your trip to Bogotá is that white people are everywhere! it's just that there are also mestizos, blacks, indigenous, etc. Man, serioulsy, a colombian could say you're from Medellin or from Boyacá .

You're totally right, if you're kinda white, or a tourist, the bad guys will note it and they are going to come after the stuff you're carrying in your pockets.
Bogota isn't a jungle like everyone says, but it is not a very secure place.

just be chilled in streets and dont talk to strangers , be DECENT to homeless and poor people, dont give them money....
