These same group of non-musical losers go all around giving people rude critiques when in reality I would bet that 9 out 10 of them don't even play guitar and the 1 percent that does leaves bad/nasty comments because they can never figure out how to play even the simplest beginner songs.

True musicians can appreciate different takes on songs as it shows a willingness to explore and grow into a better player with your own style.

If you are going to cover a song by somebody as great a SRV you should probably make sure you know the words to it before you play it in public.

potential but singing lessons to learn to control your pitch and breating would help greatly. don't take this wrong, you have a young undeveloped voice which is normal. Lessons with the right teacher could teach you to sign from the right area and how to breath well enough to control your pitch. good luck.

I give this yong man credit for a job well done. Even Stevie himself used several variations of the same song. Rarely does any true musician play exactly note for note every time. It's called creativity.

Ofcourse creativity is a part of "live" performances, I only prefer to use about 5-10% creativness or "different" riffs and parts of solos when I play a cover song live. BUT, the song on the record IS the song. Besides, these people on here aren't getting "creative" by playing the beginning differently, they stink, and can't play it correctly. This guy doesnt' stink, he just missed the mistake I pointed out. Here clearly is trying to play as it's recorded.
