Don't be ignorant. No brainwashing going on, just instilling virtues like patriotism, respect, love of parents, cleanliness, etc. It is sponsored by Masons, but most of the DeMolays I have known did NOT go on to be Masons.

Medals are simply recognition of leadership within the organization (similar to the Boy Scouts) and the robes have no significance whatsoever. The ones shown are used only for competition to dress up the presentation.

The Bible that DeMolays use is just an ordinary Bible.

The opening music is Tempus Vernum" by Enya. Later, about halfway through the video is the theme from the film "Pearl Harbor." At the end is the theme from "Gladiator."

None of these music selections made it into the final release version of the video because of the cost to buy the rights. They were meant only as placeholders for this draft version.
