  • Wah...coming from Sabah, I can actually understand this hakka. They are so many different dialects of Hakka. I know some in Hakka (Hopoh?)Sarawak do not speak and sound the same. I am not sure what kind of Hakka is this.

  • my mom born in selangor, grew up in semenyih. stayed 30 years in seremban... well, nothing to do with sabahan. but similarity between different dialect of hakka is quite normal.

  • Is she from Guangdong or Taiwan? Maybe if you know where she's lived, then you will know what is her Hakka dialect.

  • It sounds like Moiyen, which is also spoken in Taiwan. It is not Hong-Kong Hakka.

  • This is not moiyen. moiyen hakka has a mandarin sound to it.. My parents speak this hakka and they are from hong kong.. they didnt migrate there either..
