Wah...coming from Sabah, I can actually understand this hakka. They are so many different dialects of Hakka. I know some in Hakka (Hopoh?)Sarawak do not speak and sound the same. I am not sure what kind of Hakka is this.

my mom born in selangor, grew up in semenyih. stayed 30 years in seremban... well, nothing to do with sabahan. but similarity between different dialect of hakka is quite normal.

It sounds like Moiyen, which is also spoken in Taiwan. It is not Hong-Kong Hakka.

This is not moiyen. moiyen hakka has a mandarin sound to it.. My parents speak this hakka and they are from hong kong.. they didnt migrate there either..
