The woman who was murdered there was Susie Roberts...John Patrick Heniretta took her life. She was an amazing woman and she was my Mother's best friend.
OMG! Isn't that wooded area next to Croton Avenue? Those back woods/old bike trail across the river from Neshanock Village? I remember swimming there ages ago. My friends and I also talked about one lady who was murdered back there years back as well. Man, that's an awesome place.
Great place grew up in new castle and fished that river from the shenango river point all the way to volant in all the places I could find. Great memories!
oo shyt thats down at sandy beack i live like 3 mins away from that dude i grew up down there allways something fun esp up by the caves in the winter great shooting lol
I used to roll tires down over that hill where the caves where. I used to go in the caves too. There where people swimming there when I rolled tires. We made torches with a stick and paper and a milk jug full of gas. My friend accidentally lit the jug and I had to toss it. Lit up the whole place with a roar.
One of my teachers said it was one of the top 10 cleaners waterways in Pennsylvania. I swam here when I was a kid. Went swimming upstream a little last year.

no, thats Neshannock Creek

I used to swim and fish in Neshannock "Crick" in the 60's. There was this huge cave near the creek. Huge cave with no light at all.
There was a junk yard high up the hill above the cave. there was a railroad track there along the river.

That's a swimming hole below Paper Mill and Cinders. About a 10 minute walk from El Rio Beach.
