Why does no one understand, that when films reveal or explain everything, they aren't as good? Cloverfield is captivating because it doesn't tell you everything. It keeps your imagination working, which is more necessary in film than you realise. Jeepers creepers had me hooked, until they showed the demon thingy stood there, and I thought "Ah I see, well thats that then." Lost interest after that. Cloverfield is not meant to be fully understood.
