  • and I just realized that is the kid from Poltergeist

  • Yeah, Burnt Offerings was good, also, "Let's Scare Jessica to Death"

  • Burnt Offerings was the the scariest one with the "Smiley Man". I screamed to the top of my lungs when he smiled in the movie. Those old tv horror movies were there scariest!!!!

  • @ViardotVSGrisi I second your feelings! I saw this as a child and have been looking for this movie forever! I remember the same scene and I have asked everyone I know if they have seen it. It is so good to know that i really did see this movie! It is real!! Thank you to Baiafy for uploading it! I have peace on mind now!!!!

  • Nossa... esse filme eu assisti quando tinha uns 6 anos de idade. Antigasso...!

  • Thank you Kindertrauma!

  • This movie scarred me for life! It is because of this movie that I have this weird phobia of dolls.

  • @susieq6981 Me to too. I hate all the big eyed old dolls to this day. Funny how things stick with you.

  • Man, I think I saw this years and years ago but I didn't see it from the beginning, I saw it in bits in pieces, sux that I already know how it ends. Still, getting to see it from the start is cool. AND I didn't remember that the kid that played Robbie in Poltergeist was in it too!

  • Yea there is something wrong with the sound. Without earphones it is fine. With earphones it works with them not all the way in.

  • I love Ruth Gordon.

  • The kids are annoying. Are they the monsters?lol

  • cant hear shit

  • O-M-G This is one of those movies I saw when I was a kid and the scenes from it stayed with me for the REST OF MY LIFE. and it was one of those things where I couldnt remember what the movie was called, so for half my life Ive been asking people "did you ever see that movie...the kid falls and then it cuts to the watermelon..." and people are like "you have issues...". Thank you youtube...omg im crying !

  • @ViardotVSGrisi Yes!!! I too remember seeing this as a child. I never knew the title and I would always ask people about it and they would look at me strange.

  • Dennis Weaver is a hot man.....mmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • dennis weaver is sexy

  • ...another excellent movie to see is Burnt Offerings...

  • The intro to this movie is annoying D:

  • This movie gave me the creeps as a kid....mainly cuz I had an evil sister too. Granted she never killed anyone, but I could still relate. Hehehe.

  • That grandma is kinda scary.

  • who is the idiot with that came up with that opening sequence?

  • Nossa... como é velho esse filme. Eu assisti ele quando tinha 9 anos.

  • Hey, the little boy is the one from the movie Poltergeist!!!

  • Oh my gosh, I think I've seen this movie!!! Hey, does anyone remember a movie (late 70s probably early 80s) where only the ending I remember: a blonde-haired girl rises from her mother's bed from the footboard side and says: "Hello mommy", in a truly evil smile and the dark-headed mother screams? And that was the end of the movie. Oh heck, it might be this one. Well, I guess I'll know by watching all of this one tonight!!! Man, TBS sure did put some good creepy movies back when I was a kid.

  • @my5guysgirl , this is the movie.

  • Thanks for posting this, I remember seeing this YEARS AGO

  • The little boy played the son named Robby on poltergeist.

  • I've been looking for this movie forever!

  • Uno de los mejores Telefilms de terror en España se titulo "No Te Vayas a Dormir" estremecedor final

  • I watched this film when I was 9 and i got so freaking scared. Just hearing the music now at the beginning, I'm scared again! That little girl is so creepy! The car scene was horrible, it stuck to my head, and I perfectly remember all the deaths and the disturbing end. I think I was traumatized.

  • another movie i will enjoy thanks :)

  • awesome! I sneaked the last half of this when I was 8 and always wondered what it was. The car scene has been stuck in my head as such a weird and distinct memory for all this time.

  • I don't remember most of this movie. Is Mary's sister already gone at the beginning?

  • @FloridaLizardQueen

Yes, she died in a car accident, months before.

  • Hey - its the kid from Poltergeist!

  • NO WAY. Thank you baiafy for uploading this, haven't seen this since I was 7!!

  • I remember when this was on MANY years ago, but couldn't recall the name. My mom had read aloud from the paper stating that kids should not be allowed to see it. I was 15, so I didn't qualify. Yeah, talk about poetic justice for these folks.

  • i've been looking for this for years. fuck you for not having it netflix and thank you for uploading it baiafy

  • Many said this was creepy but although i liked the film it was not scary. The end wasn't creepy. And showing the two girls talking was dumb. The ghost should have been horrifying, but in the sisters eyes normal. I give it points for the pizza cutter. 2 out of 4.

  • I saw this when I was 11,I still get the creeps looking under my bed to this day! Gosh I miss the "old"horror films like this one.!

  • Oh how I miss these old tv movies...

  • AWESOME MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man, it took me forever to find this movie! I remember watching it when i was small! I love this movie!

  • Wasnt the boy the brother in Poltergeist?

  • @PrettyTigerlilly, yep he was - Oliver Robbins.

  • Thanks so much for posting this - I've wanted to see it FOREVER!

  • @Muirmaiden AMEN!!!!

  • ~wow I was only 7 yrs old & this movie was creepy but for some reason as a child & still now I love the scary movies~

  • I agree, it was (and is) a great movie! I used to watch it when I was a teenager...Good cast (Ruth Gordon - amazing!, Valeria Harper - so nice!). I´d like to know where the children are; I know the boy (Oliver Robins) is a director...

  • Wow! I saw this movieon ABC back in 1982 when I was in 3rd grade. It scared the heck out of me then--and it still scares me today! Valerie harper rules!

    Thanks for posting this, Sir!

  • I have been looking for this movie for YEARS it is one of the best scary TV movies ever made. Well ok it's much much scarier if you watch it as a child. I ran across a crappy version of it to download on the computer. I think your version is better. What's odd is I remember the pizza cutter scene as a little more intense. I could have swore she dragged it down the bannister really slow, while walking slowly, crazed out talking all slow and creepy, "Mommy Mommy what's the matter"

  • @marriedtoajason - I thought the SAME thing about the pizza cutter scenme so don't feel bad! LOL. This movie scared the crap outta me too when i was a kid and i'm lucky enough to own it now! :) The whole symbolism of the watermelon hitting the ground after the little boy fell and that ghost coming up from the foot of the bed in the last scene SERIOUSLy screwed me up as a kid! XD

  • Looks like Grandma only liked Jennifer and disliked the other two. Must have been obsessed.

  • God this movie makes me feel so old. I remember seeing it as a kid and being deeply disturbed by the death scenes (particularly the one involving Oliver Robins) in it. Such an ordinary family beset by such tragedy. I think Richard Lang is an underrated genius!!

  • @palpatine17 I'm 38 in 2011, meaning I must've been 9 when I saw this. I REALLY appreciate so many people here saying that they "saw this as a kid," because that tells me that you're mostly age peers of mine, likely between 35 and 45. We can relate with each other on many things, like what movies were popular back then.

  • @palpatine17 calm down it's just a movie

  • Is Oliver playing a brother stuck between 2 sisters in unlucky psycho family again?Isnt he done with those ghost things?PS the movie is great

  • I've been trying to remember the name of this movie for years glad i came across this!!! love it , thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yha i have too this movie freaked me out as a kid!

I remember watching this when i was a kid in the dark but i din't get to see the end because it went on past my bed time..thanks for the post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best TV horror films EVER made. Makes parents look like the idiots they are, too.

  • @Devo13 no argument here.
