I think the slug one is WAY worse than this. The slug throws shit way faster than these asteroids and while your dealing with them you've gotta blow off the tentacles too. The Z-baller one is the stupidest one. That and fully loaded are the last two and the fully loaded one just isn't happening. I've bought, upgraded and kept everything and no fucking achievement. Screw it I'm going back to my DS2 Hardcore attempt.

@xXExedomeXx Yep I experienced this too it is certainly easier with using both guns but I fired them one then the other right after because if you miss with one the second probably catches it and if you hit with the first then the second goes on and can get another.

I am sorry to say that difficulty does affect this trophy. I was playing on impossible and saved here to come back later, and so I was trying for two days but it was way to hard. I was so frustrated and tired and decided to play again on EASY. it turned out that this trophy was VERY VERY easy on easy difficulty..I got it on my first try

I at usually at 50 when he says "give me a minute". It's just that there's so many asteroids and they come SO FAST.

After at least 10 attempts, I finally got it at about 60% left. One thing I found helpful, was to turn the brightness up on the in game options, it made the asteroids a little easier to see and I was able to tackle a few of them earlier than I would have noticed them with my normal brightness settings.

I just received this trophy on impossible mode. I muted my system and that helped me to remain concentrated and avoid overreacting when Hammond says that he is almost finished. I finished with 73% armor!!! 2ND attempt after watching this video.

Just did this on maybe my 5th try with 67% left. some tips. 1-turn the game brightness and tv brightness up. it lets you see the asteroids from much farther off and gives you far more time to deal with them all. 2- focus on groups of asteroids and feel free to spam fire every once in a while if you are getting swamped 3- try to prioritize the larger asteroids, a large asteroid will deal 6-8% while a small will deal 2-3% 4- don't get frustrated/discouraged. if you do, take a break 5-glhf

JUST got it at 51%. Quick tip: you can shoot into empty space to get the light from the lasers to reflect off the asteroids. This will let you see incoming rocks before they're close enough to appear on their own.

p.s. if you know your going to miss a few, miss the outside ones and go for the middle and dont waste your blast. overloading the gun is a really bad thing.

Frustrating but I managed to get it. Best strategy I could give is try to shot them in the middle of the screen as they appear. Once they start spreading all over the screen then you're in trouble. You can fire the entire time as long as your shots are moderately spaced out between one another. I even had a few random shots in the middle of the screen take a few out.

This achievement was annoying as hell...just did it. Took me about five or six tries, but I got it. Even with a 32 inch TV, I had to sit almost right in front of the damn thing to be able to see the asteroids coming..once I sat closer, if only took two tries.

just completed this on my 12th try on easy mode ( i suck :P) with 51% left and 2 rocks about to hit the hull (seriously), the only advice i can give is increase brightnes to see them earlier, only use 2 guns on the big rocks, focus on the big rocks when their coming at you and forget about the rocks too close unless their big ones

To ALL PC Dead Space 1 players. When you are at ADS part the mouse mostly lags by aiming thats why it's hard to complete that chapter. But try to lower your resolution untill mouse won't lag. I did this and I completed on 53% of hull. So you should try it.

Sorry for the spamming of your post, but... DID IT! A tip: DO NOT JUST SINGLE SHOT! When you are going to shoot, hold the trigger down. Let go of the trigger when you are "enroute" to a new target. I over heated twice, and still got the achievement. Trust me, you hit a lot more of them by not trying to "one shot" them.

This achievement was a pain in the ass, and I only made this because I was lucky. I made it like after the 20th try; in the beginning everything when smooth, almost no asteroids at all, but then the fast splitting fucks started appearing like there was no tomorrow, and *bam bam!* I had 51 health left, so I started to beg that I would manage this time, and just when the last rock hit me the AI took over my controls and achievement unlocked!!
